There seems to be a pretty good chance that Hunter is also dead, like Joe, and is being played by an avatar. Stone addicts usually don't survive well into their 50's. What better use of a straw man avatar of a dead person than to mount lawfares? Hunter alive would likely never want any of his lifestyle subjected to court process discovery and it is unlikely that any sane lawyer would recommend it. However, the sham of a dead guy for political persecutions is invaluable.
