Problem: taxes too high and housing is too expensive.

Solution: like during homestead act days. Government should give away land free to citizens with restriction that they have to build and live there. Would create new tax revenues, solve housing issues.

CA should stop sheltering millions of illegals and socializing their misery onto the overextended middle class.

Those are simple solutions. But you’ll never hear Democrats consider those ideas. Because it doesn’t promote unions or more welfare.

The real solution is to get rid of the socialist politicians. All our problems will get solved on their own after the socialist politicians are booted out.

I think Prop 13, 47 (the crime reform one) and 58 will need to be repealed because it drives housing cost up for peple coming to California. I suspect Californians median age will eventually get older over time compared to other states. The long term affect, as I suspect will be lower and middle income classes being driving out of the state, which will raise labor costs for businesses, and businesses might leave in that case. It is interesting to note, that Prop 13 for businesses has been repealed and I suspect a lot of businesses will shutdown once the new tax assesments are in this fiscal year.

I strongly suspect San Francisco will become Chicago with high crime and declining property values. Btw, moving to the Bay Area.
