Are you saying we should not prosecute those that committed acts of violence in Charlottesville, because that would take away more human contact, and cause more ill? Are you going to apply that same logic to islamic terrorists or other hate groups too? Why or why not?

Nope, I'm quite clearly responding to people being fired as being identified at the Rally on the "Wrong Team". Not the Officially Supported by Polite Society team.

As I've made clear long before Trump was ever thought of on this board, I think people's afterwork opinions are sacrosanct and it should be illegal to fire people for their extracurricular activities. Even Teachers who join Swinger Clubs, for example.

However, I do believe that Academics have a duty to be dispassionate when teaching a course (not when writing papers or doing research), and if their opinion interferes with fairly giving a survey of the most common opinions and beliefs, they can be let go.

Yes we all know businesses usually don't have the spine to tell these serial harassers to fuck off. Don't expect sympathy from my group when the tables are turned. In fact this kind of shit is one but many factors for Trump's victory. Leave others alone, don't start shit, don't be a pestering asshole, or some day one you'll get wrecked.

After all, history never repeats itself. For this exact same reason, we should get rid of all airport security and stop locking the cockpit doors.
