It's the best option for raising kids and financial synergy while you stay married, also if you're religious the churches and government unfortunately are somewhat joined on the hip. But something needs to change as not many modern men are cut out or want to endure this lopsidedness and a marriage time of shit tests. Sure if you are able to marry a rich one then you won't be raped financially but you still may lose kids and it's not good for them if your goal is to get divorced as soon as the going gets tough. This is part of a larger overhaul in society necessary where the patriarchy takes the reign again. At least the adversity brings out the best in you if you're ready to face it. In Europe daycare still works pretty well for 1/3rd to 1/4 of the cost in the US. No political indoctrination and no planning out the whole day unless you put them into a special kindergarten. They get to play and socialize with light supervision. Parents aren't particularly worried their kid will be left behind if they don't start structured learning until elementary school. Also parents don't freak out if their kid gets schooled by someone else and learns an important lesson. I don't know why the US can't get daycare and education right, prob lots of reasons lol

Private organizations are sometimes cheaper than public daycares (which go by income) so it's not the subsidies. Taxes are def lower here though not by that much if you live in a higher tax state, and Christian daycare and schools are no doubt good choices when available. We have good Catholic schools nearby with reasonable tuition.
