In 2013, the US military lifted its ban on women serving in combat. Shortly after, the Marine Corps began what it calls an “unprecedented research effort” to understand the impact of gender integration on its combat forces.

"The report also says that female Marines had higher rates of injury throughout the experiment"

It wasn't mentioned, but they also have higher rates of pregnancy.

Women really shouldn't be fighting. I'm not sure why the new generation is so hung up about equalizing everything. It's to their own demise, destroying gender differences also destroys part of us being human, our uniqueness. Men shouldn't be nurse, women shouldn't be soldiers.

They weren't using the correct, equalizing metrics. How about nagging the enemy into apoplexy and honeytrap enticing the enemy with hip wiggling to their doom?

Also, once a month for five days, the female recruits would tear the heads off of the enemy with their bare hands.

Can you imagine during World War II Doris Day, Peggy Lee and Bopalula fighting in the trenches alongside GI Joe?

It probably isn't that critical anymore since all-out victory in military engagements hasn't been a priority since World War II. So long as you can get an uninterrupted supply of young men and women to replace those killed you can keep battlefield activity going for a decade or more.

It breaks the universal rule of warfare. In any struggle between civilizations the primary resource is wombs. Sacrificing wombs to the carnage of battle is a losing proposition. That woman could have produced three or four or even eight more soldiers, but instead she got blown up by an RPG.
Lose.
Fail.
We all know this fact by instinct. We just tend to rationalize our way out of it.

It doesn't matter, ideology trumps everything.

Isn't this misogyny?

Especially just prior to deployments.

Most countries that employ female soldiers demand they take birth control at least during their first term of enlistment, and give them disciplinary action if they get pregnant.

Just another example of the waste of time and resources from the real purpose of the armed forces.

Clearly female marines need an affirmative action program.

Were there any bad ass Asian babes in that squad?
That study was flawed.

They could also criticize everything they do and then storm off in a huff and give them the silent treatment.

Overall, the report says, all-male teams and crews outperformed mixed-gender ones on 93 out of 134 tasks evaluated. All-male teams were universally faster “in each tactical movement.” On “lethality,” the report says.

Obligatory:

Yep, and lest anyone claim Sexist, everybody can get written up in the military for contracting STDs. It's considered something irresponsible that reduced your readiness.

At least in the old days, every Soldier got a comic book about not using a condom and not talking about military issues with prostitutes.

Did they hide their handguns in their tweeties like the lady in the news story from Texas?

No, it was in their kazoos.

Servicewoman who get pregnant after a deployment has been announced should be generally discharged, or at least subject to disciplinary action, including demotion.

A former member of the armed forces, Julie Pulie, has a piece in the Wall Street Journal specifically about that and how, even though she served, she's against women being in the infantry. She cited the example of when her unit was about to deploy, several of the women were pregnant and they had to borrow men and women from another unit to give them the required manpower.

The IHLs in the military would carry the men on their arms as human shields.
