If this Republican had any real guts he'd ask Edvard2's uncle for a job picking lettuce:
My Uncle is a 3rd generation farmer who employs immigrant labor and as he has told me multiple times, if he did not have this labor the farm would go out of business. The other thing too is that its not like pays them less. He actually pays them the same as anyone else. He even lets them stay in a number of homes on the property free of charge. The issue is that he seriously cannot get anyone else to do the labor period.

Fresno is heavy into agriculture - surely someone there needs a cheap field hand.
I recently called in the maid service to have one my tenants condo cleaned. It was already pretty clean, but 2 young women came in, worked 8 straight hours at full speed, with a smile on their face and not a single word of complaint. The place was sparkling. Their charges.....$120.00 total. That works out at $7.50 per hour, and they used their own equipment. I was so impressed I bought them pizza and a $25.00 gift card.
They spoke hardly any English. What value would I get from Americans?
He's right about how tough times are. Very compelling video as it pertains to that message. But then at the end, he explains his solution
"We need jobs.
We know how to do that.
We reign in regulations so that businesses can hire.
We invest in water for the farmers. "
Wow. I'm impressed. That's quite a plan he has there.
Is this thread a bad joke? That man you refer to as "a Republican running for governor" is Neil Kashkari, the man that oversaw the TARP bailout in 2008. Hank Paulson's right-hand man, the man that ensured a happy ending for all bank executives and a bad ending for Main Street.
We do not forget that easily. I quote from the youtube comment section:
"News Flash! Zillionaire investment banker pretends to care about the poor. In a surprising twist, he advocates lower taxes on zillionaire investment bankers as a way to improve conditions for the poor."
but 2 young women came in, worked 8 straight hours at full speed,
It was already pretty clean
Why don't those two comments match up to me??? If it was already "pretty clean", why did it take 2 PEOPLE, 8 hours to clean a CONDO??
Trust you to notice that.
I thought it would take them about 3 hours. They just cleaned every nook and cranny they could find. When a new tenant is coming in I want it to look perfect. I told them to make it look new again. They just smiled, and actually did make it look new.
Hard working, good attitude and more then fair. It's very hard to find this among Americans.
So here is a video from a Republican running for governor.
He has my vote. Democrats keep screwing up.

Did you get a "happy ending" too?
No. Considering they were young and pretty with a talent for finding every nook and cranny, I might have missed an excellent opportunity. Story of my life. :(
This guy's a wimp.
George Bush & other Republicans can start a war & not fund it & figure out a way to cut taxes to pay for it.
These are True American Heroes.
You have to admit whenever we do get some water it will be great to haul it around on a fast train, SOMEDAY.
How does moonbeam reply to this video?
When you look at growth projections, California's is terrible. This IMO from Moonbeam's previous work.

I am very patriotic for my country, and I thank you, Sir, for striking just the right note on this day of The Lord, when we sit and think of our families and our great Conservatarian Leaders, who love the flag ever so much!
I shed a tear when I read what you said.
Family! Country! Constitution! USA!
God Bless your and yours!

It would be very difficult to find one in the first place. I only come across Mexicans. Besides, I have no faith in Americans being able or willing to work like that. Lets face it....we have lost the values of hard work.
So here is a video from a Republican running for governor. He lived the life of a homeless man in Fresno for a week with only $40 in his pockets. Some interesting facts about CA come up in the film. Do you think any of the democrat candidates would have the guts to do something like this??
