This is good news for CA.

Welfare recipients, the hopeless mentally ill, permanent jail birds, etc all create lucrative high paying jobs in schools, hospitals, prisons, and for social workers and endless paper pushers to track and manage it.

These people will buy homes and more and larger homes and push up RE prices and RE taxes allowing the CA government to hire more and more prison guards, teachers, social workers, etc allowing the general prosperity to go up.

Actually, this came to a head in May of this year, when the Sacramento Bee reported that the main mental hospital in Vegas (Rawson-Neal) was providing "greyhound" therapy for patients. That's where they throw them on a bus with a couple of bucks for food, if they're lucky, and send them elsewhere.

They're supposed to have a plan (such as know someone in the town to which they're sent, and have services set up for when they get there. But that wasn't happening. Big scandal, people fired (scapegoats) and supposed change of policies.

Now the hospital in Reno is being accused of the same practices. The truth is that nearly every hospital does this at one time or another, they just did it too much, and to people who were too mentally ill to protest.

California and Washington send mental patients to Central Phoenix all the time.

California has deep compassion for everybody and everything except the people who actually work for a living. Them, they are just there to rob for the pet projects. Suckers!
