This house was a jigsaw puzzle. I mean seriously pieced together. A small house on top. Several added rooms downstairs. A balcony with three levels out of a Harry Potter movie. All balanced on top of a very steep hill. I guess is could be Alice in Wonderland or Harry Potter. Your pick.

Nice agent, not too chatty or intrusive. She asked me what I thought and I said, "well it has a lot of different pieces and parts." She said, "Yes, it does. There is a lot of space." That was a very reasonable response. It had an older looking kitchen.

My husband would never live here for fear of falling down the hill. He was very concerned about this being earthquake country and all. There was a huge tree that appeared to have only recently taken a dive down the hill. I don't know what kind of tree it was or how fast that kind of tree grows. Looking from just he size of the tree, I would guess it was at least 50 years old. I didn't inspire confidence in the stability of the hill this house was balanced on. It could have been priced 350K and we still wouldn't buy it.

@Remmington - you see this one?

No I didnt, but I live in the area and I recognize seeing the basketball hoop in the back! You can see it from Linda Mar St below.

I agree with your husband, had the exact same thought myself. If you look up at the house you have this massive wooden structure just being supported by shallow beams.

This house is 1/8 a mile from San Andres fault line no way I'd want to be up there. I'll swing by this weekend and see if its open again, I'd love to go and make fun
