Thank you. I was under impression that "Pending Without Release" means that all contingencies are removed, and the property is just waiting to close.

Call the listing agent and ask. They are the person who changed status.
Just wonder what could possibly went wrong: "Pending Without Release" changed to "Pending With Release" and "Price Changed" the same day (price reduced by almost $150,000).
