(New York Post) - More American households are falling back into the debt hole, this time without the safety net of home values to help bail them out, the New York Post reported Sunday.

Last year, total US consumer debt reached its highest point in a decade, according to a credit card industry observer.

Got to maintain the lifestyle. You know the iPad III will be out soon and the SUV is almost 2 years old. What would the neighbor's and coworkers think if we don't upgrade everything? Our kids may not feel special if they do not get the late$t greate$t everything! We paid off a little on the CC so we can charge more. That is the American way.............right????

Capitol one sent me a card offer last week with 0% until November 1, then 22.9% after that. I used it to light the grill. Where do they keep finding these Idiots to take them up on it?
