Hold on then, what's this?

I saw this little number on a MLS listing. Now at first I thought it was a yearly fee for the horrible crappy Wireless Hollywood wifi that nobody uses. I was ready to pull out my tax receipt to see if I am paying for this crap.
So I Googled it, and guess what? It's a service so international buyers can bid against you, or should we say more obscurity so the realtors can say there's a bid on the house, that's a separate process than county court records, which can be easily verified.

Then upon further reading, it appears to be a fee, that even the Local Buyer fool will have to pay, even if he didn't use the internet bidding process.

What do you sat Sinister, or this the new norm?

I'm so glad I bought when I did. Even though I could have probably bought this house 20K to 40K cheaper sometime last year. Not now the pump monkeys are back at work. But even if I did buy for 20K cheaper, I've done a good faith estimate on what that loan would cost me.
With interest rates almost a point lower, and the price 20K less, my mortgage would be $80 MORE than when I actually bought it.

Desperate times. Realtors will do anything to get bread and butter!

I think realtors live by sucking the precious bodily fluids out of naive buyers.

They're very similar to spiders that way, only less honest.
