Here's a movie better than the book, Blade Runner, it was based on Do Androids Dream of Electronic Sheep? The short story, was pretty awful.

Want to know an incredible short story that trashes any film adaptation? Flowers for Algernon. That short story made my cry, still chokes me up to this day. The film is trite and stupid. That's a short story that cannot be translated to film, because the whole story is you being in Charlie Gordon's mind as he goes from retardation to brilliance, and back again and the short story cuts off before you know the inevitable. It's a warning against medical experimentation and I would suppose the story of Icarus.

My understanding is biscuits = tits and bootie = ass. This was explained to me by northern (east coast) black people back in the day.
