I know you are joking, but it does bring out a point. There are plenty of smart people who could devise home made weapons but are good law abiders that do not see the need. Imagine lasers cobbled together from CD players popping car tires, from a distance and undetectable.

Not going to work since all the potential NG people who are medical people already have a day job doing medical stuff. So the total number of nurses, etc isn't going to change. It's all optics.

Home made weapons that would be easy to devise would be things like light weapons, designed to blind. I doubt you could build something practical that could burn through a steel belt in a car tire.

Both these weapons are internationally banned, and both are fairly easy to build.

We've been demonstrating for well over a month. It just took a while for scattered groups to become actively effected and get more visibility in more "popular" places

Each protest I've been to thus far has truly represented the diversity of NYC.
