Children of Russian elites live in the decadent West; they keep their money in the West, not in rubles and safety of supposedly wonderful Russia.
This is the difference between propaganda and reality. It's easy to make blanket statements and to believe them, isn't it?
In a world where the Euro north is overcome and weakened by the southern cultures, China will pounce and rule the world. The Chinese will have no interest in diversity when they have hegemony.
Their citizens may not love their govt, but as long as the standard of living and wealth keeps rising, and the govt doesn't do anything too heinous to them, they wont revolt.

Anastasia Zheleznyak - daughter of former Duma deputy speaker Sergei Zheleznyak, lives in Britain
Elizaveta Krivonogikh - supposedly an out-of-wedlock daughter of Putin
Ex-wife of Peskov with their kids live in Paris. Peskov is some type of Kremlin press secretary.
These are ones that I remember from reading Russian gossip pages. If you wish, I can go through them and find a few more examples. I recall also that one of leaders of Russian State TV is a permanent resident of Italy and lives there at least part time.
I do know Russian pretty well, so I am not informed only by English language media; and I know plenty Russians both here and back in E. Europe.
Well if it's all talk then gays, news, and muslims plus any other "minority" we can think of these days have nothing to fear about in Russia, right? Glad we can finally put the "Russia is evil" narrative to re

Russia (or, more precisely, its ruling class) IS evil; however I don't see why we should be afraid of them. They are stuck in 1990's with respect to technology.
For aficionados of conspiracy theories, Russians have one of their own, which rivals WTC 2001 destruction conspiracy theories around here. It is rumored that Russian FSB blew up apartment buildings in 1999 to start Chechen war, which brought Putin to power. It is said that over 400 people were killed, with thousands injured.
@mell, please guess which city this is:

I know several Russians through work - all voted for Biden because "we need better US-Russia relations and want to bring our relatives to US and Trump was tightening immigration".
We should rather prosecute and hang those responsible for the china virus and the lockdowns, and as of today Russsia had zilch to do with it.

I believe that. The Russians I know in Russia and even some Russians living in the Ukraine are mostly pro Putin and nationalistic and the Russians who live in the US are all very anti Putin and usually leftoids, which makes sense for them given the reasons above.
... which they said over a decade ago. How very prescient of them, as that's exactly how things are unfolding.
