The states can change voter laws in whatever way they choose as long as they 1) do not suppress the vote and 2) treat all voters the same. If I understand correctly, some states required different things from different voters depending on if the voted in person or by mail in ballot. I do not understand how the Trump team didn't lead a lawsuit with that. Maybe I'm missing something.
