There's a column on marketwatch where people write in to get retirement location advice. They provide criteria - like how much money they have, desired weather / amenities / culture etc.... and the editor responds with locations and info. Anyway, I just read one where one of many details they mentioned is that they're conservative Christians and would like a town w/ like minded people, and so don't care for night life.

Half the user comments are angry liberals either intentionally misleading them, telling them to move to an island and make sure to bring all their friends, or just disparaging christians in general. They're clearly sooooo triggered about RBG and Trump's consideration of a christian. Intolerance.

I listened to the full interview. She doesn't seem smart. Couldn't handle STEM. English Major picking between two parents careers - one a teacher and one a lawyer. I missed the part where she has done anything outside of academia. Another "thinker" that's done nothing by her own hands.

If abortion is the only issue you care about then you will probably be happy with this pick.

If you're a small government libertarian then don't get your hopes up for this papist. I gave up on SCOTUS after Kelo vs. City of New London. She seems like more of the same.

I’ve never heard that, but coney does refer to rabbits. And that quote makes a lot more sense in that context.

I think that stems from a variance on the word "carne" or Latin/Hispano for "meat." I say this because when I was in the Azores, the locals would get a giggle whenever Americans said "corner," which sounds like the Portuguese word for "meat", their crude slang for vagina. "I put my desk in the corner" or "Corner market," and so on.

Rin goes to the "Corner Market", when the pandemic doesn't prevent him from doing so.

The Senate began its confirmation hearings this morning for Judge Amy Coney Barrett, President Trump’s nominee for Associate Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Just yesterday, the nonpartisan American Bar Association (ABA) gave Judge Barrett its highest rating of “well qualified” in a letter sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee. Senate Democrats have called the ABA the “gold standard” in rating judicial nominees.

No photoshopped pictures of her topless in college with beer bongs or joints? No spring break pictures of her puking over balconies? No videos of her callously ushering thousands to their deaths with Covid by not wearing a mask in public?

I think the Dems just uploaded You Tube videos of Barrett cutting a fart at her prom dance and they are blaming her for Global Warming.

They just told her she is single handedly responsible for destroying Obamacare because she opposes government subsidized tattoo removal.

ACB just got lambasted for adopting black children to use as domestic slaves to bypass the Thirteenth Amendment.

The Dems continue the struggle session, and told ACB her butt would look fat in SCOTUS garb.

A black hole was observed in space incinerating a star, and the Dems said it was ACB's fault and that she was trying to incinerate the United States with Russian help.

The Dems have just blamed ACB for the fact that the Fascist Universe's Stare Decisis Big Bang did not evolve all races into black races on Earth instead of whites.

So the dopey Dems are unwittingly illusrating their own sexual discrimination, with regards to, so far, not attacking the nominee with outlandish allegations of perverse sexual behavior. Recall with Kavanaugh the unbelievable and vague recalled memory stories of a non-consensual romp on a bed at a high-school party that may have occurred on some planet, at some point in time.

The door is wide open for unsubstantiated allegations of BBC gangbang sessions with affirmative action admitted Nortre Dame law students, which explains the black kids. But, alas, the nominee is not a white male, and so we won't be seeing any such thing.

If ACB were reading from Joe's teleprompter, it would have read "No, Joe, you demented moron, you are NOT in Delaware!"
