Not sure you even need a good lawyer on this one. Who watches that video and says he wasn't defending himself against lunatics? He fucking ran away from them in 98% of the footage. He had a weapon that he could mow people down with and didn't until it was necessary. I don't see how even a "internet" attorney would lose this case. He initiated zero aggression until he was being assaulted. And for 17, he did it very methodically and calmly without blowing away others. He shouldn't even be charged.
But fuck, it's 2020 and white people are up in arms about a black guy, with a warrant and previous felonies, resists arrest and proceeds to enter his vehicle with guns drawn on him. This is the hill these people are willing to die on? The fuck? They then decide to destroy a tiny midwest town because of a felon not listening? There's not one person with a working brain that is against Kyle or the cops in this entire situation. No chance you get 12 brainwashed people to convict this guy.

I'm amazed at his trigger control, his calm calculation of assessing what was a threat and what was not all in a split of a split second.
Not only is this kid going to walk, he's got a bright career in Law Enforcement. He will be a Sheriff of a town one day. Or the head of an Elite Special ops Unit one day.
I think most of us once we were on the ground, with a dozen people coming at you, and you're already getting wracked in the head with a skateboard before you can turn yourself right side up; Would opened fire on anyone standing over you, running toward you, and or running away. He handled that better than most cops. Had that Gaige not turned around with a gun in hand, he would not have gotten shot.
Then to top it all off, Kyle gets up and walks away like he just put out a cigarette. Calm, Cool and Collect.
Someone was firing shots off in the distant, not sure if they were firing at him. Kyle turned around to see, but he didn't break his stride and take off running.
My hats off to the 17 year old Man.

He needs the best lawyer he can get, and the case needs all the publicity it can get.
I mean, by that logic he shouldn't have been charged in the first place. Neither should have the Mccloskys.Exactly.
