They just act, and are surprised always by the ramifications.
I work with nothing but Liberals they make decisions to take servers off line because they think no one is using it. Because they were just told they need to set up paperwise.
Rather than checking if it would affect anyone taking a rarely used SQL server off line or if anyone is accessing those tables they just take it down. Then when you confront them that you need it, and ask why they didn't send out an email. They play the victim. God I miss when Conservative critical thinkers ruled the enterprise.

If they had critical thinking, they wouldn’t be liberals.

That sounds an awful lot like Trump. Except for the part about being surprised by the ramifications. With Trump the ramifications are always whatever he says they are.

Why are right wingers do attracted to that kind of authoritarianism ?

The reality based people are terrified by that behavior, as they should be.

How can we gaslight the Liberals? Ya'll invented that word.
We just call it "Stating the Facts!"

Corruption is the real problem with the Democratic Party:

Werbach said Tanner’s campaign was hampered by the local Democratic party’s requirements to spend money on a direct mail campaigns run by party-affiliated vendors, when cheap digital ads would have had bigger impact. “It’s what the corruption of mediocrity looks like in the Democratic Party,” he said. “It seemed obvious pretty quickly that the gap was not technology, which I think we can bring, but the political ability to sell that within the Democratic Party.” Tanner’s campaign manager didn’t respond to interview requests.

They have been corrupted to the point where they don't even have a coherent message anymore.

Erase the Democratic Party, create the Labor Party instead! And keep it focused on labor issues alone, no tranny bathrooms.

Labor Party instead! And keep it focused on labor issues

That would be support of private sector unions (not supporting public sector unions that consume working man's taxes to supplement Civil Service protections)
Also support closing the borders to illegal immigration
Plus tariffs on low wage exploiting countries.

Trump seems to be the only Labor politician out there.

Yes, ironically.

Republicans work overtime being defensive about their Trump vote.

I wonder if that happened with Hitler ? I'm guessing some people never changed their mind about him. The more ridiculous he got, the more they dug their heels in defending him.

We have a lot of Americans that already think it would be great if Trump postponed the 2020 election (roughly half of republicans, supposedly). If he can come up with some kind of emergency or supposed election fraud, that percentage will surely go up.

Nothing to see here folks. Move along. Oh, yeah, and diversity must be either completely good or completely bad. I saw that in another thread. Followed by a contradictory assertion that diversity is actually it's okay as long the ferriner dark skinned folks are willing to assimilate.

Wtf ? As if there are immigrants that don't assimilate to being Americans in a generation or two at the most ?

As I said, the defensiveness about voting for Trump is really making some people a little whacko.

Another fine example of liberals not being able to think:

So an innocent man of high repute reacts angrily to being falsely accused by people who say even if he’s not guilty, he’s not fit because he seems angry.

Isn’t that just like a witch trial where not drowning gets you killed for being a witch?

Thats a good point. Its literally taught to every US child in school. How come it hasn't translated?

Hell no! We the people have a right to vote out even more Democrats and GOPe RINOs! We need that election to continue cleaning house of the scumballs that have infested our government so thoroughly!
As for Trump, it’s good to keep him on notice. If he makes America great, he will get re-elected. It’s that fucking simple! Nobody will be able to beat him. It will be a coronation.

Absolutely. Now that the people have gotten a taste of real democracy, they absolutely love it.

It's not that simple at all. At the republican conventionin 2016, Trump described America as basically a crime infested hellhole.

At the convention in 2020, he will describe it as heaven on earth, thanks to his awesomeness. and his amazing policies.

The truth is we got a continuation of what was already happening with a nice little added bump from tax cuts, that are basically loans from the future.

Woopteedoo.

By 2020, it's going to be interesting the machinations Trump has to go through, to avoid talking about his deficits.

Have you been right about anything? In the past few years? You like to make predictions but your record is almost perfectly wrong.

@Booger

All that becasue we look at Donald Trump and see him for who he is ?

Wtf ?

Even Trump himself thinks you are a moron for believing him !!!

Quigley says

Well, you're sort of right. But if you looked back, you would see from arguments I had here many many years ago with a guy named Bap, I did see what was coming. He was very anti-immigrant.

I commented that there was a time coming where a lot of white Americans were going to be increasingly nervous about white folk not being a majority anymore.

That's what the Trump phenomenon is mostly about. Who knows, maybe Trump reads Patrick.net, and saw what I said, and thought he's right !

But in spite of my understanding of the Baps, Fort Watne's, TPbs and Patricks's of the world, and countless others that don't understand that changing racial demographics is not the big change that's happening, you are 100% right that I didn't think Trump could possibly be elected.

And maybe you're also right that I can't forsee the ongoing effectiveness of the kind of mind control that would make Trumps reelection possible.

You’re about half right, but you miss the main point entirely. Americans are worried that we’ve been supplanted in our own country by outsiders and political hijinks that take any control away from We the People and give it to elite royalty and special interest groups.
This shouldn’t be a racial thing, but the D party and the wealthy elites have worked very hard to separate Americans along those lines using rheee methods:
1)illegal immigration: not only allowing and facilitating it, but refusing to do anything to naturalize or incorporate such immigrants to have a legal status. This ensures that they will forever be outsiders, alien to America, with no loyalty to their new country.

2)encouraging and promotion of immigrants who are utterly alien in culture, hostile to our values, and unable or unwilling to assimilate. This means mostly Muslims from intolerant sects from Somalia and Arabia as well as other horrid places like Pakistan. This makes them a permanent stone in our collective boots, irritating and uncomfortable to have around. Perhaps they’ll assimilate partially by the third generation, but nothing is for sure.

3)multiculturalism and the cult of accommodation. Rather than insist that immigrants adopt at least some of our ways and the common language, D politicians have sought to keep them separate. Permanently on a “reservation” where language needs are overlooked, forms and help is given in a plethora of languages, and the unassimilated are encouraged to settle together and make a “ethnic town” where they won’t have to interact with the country at large. This makes them permanent outsiders unable of joining society at large. And it keeps them voting for those who accommodate this cramped and sheltered lifestyle.

Americans for the most part aren’t afraid of people who look different from the norm. We ARE the most ethnically diverse country in the world, and we regularly inter marry with people of different ethnic groups. What we want is a cohesive society. What we are offered from the Democrats is a fragmented society, where members of different ethnic groups are encouraged to be as different as possible from mainstream, as suspicious as possible of people not like them, and as uninformed as possible due to propaganda from mass media and language barriers. This is the environment where Leftist lies may prosper, where cultural Marxism with all its horrors may rule, and where freedoms lie in the dust along bonds of friendship and loyalty to our fellow citizens.

It’s a world we are in the process of rejecting!

Critical thinking means looking for mistakes in what you are taught

IT's far more likely there are mistakes in what you feel than that there are mistakes in what you are taught. So I think that's a far more important place to look if you are doing true critical thinking. Don't get me wrong. There are certainly mistakes, or at least imperfections in what you've been taught. But for each one of those there are bound to be many mistakes in what you feel. Especially if you're a Trump supporter.

The OP has an interesting record when it comes to this.

I dissagree.

Quigley says
the D party and the wealthy elites have worked very hard to separate Americans along those lines using rheee methods:

ACtually there is identity politics on the right (for which I see you as a voice), that is part of their divide and conquer plan, but let me address your three methods.

1) I'm not going to dissagree so much. illegal immigration has been allowed. And with this economy, we aren't about to send them back. These people work for peanuts, but many of their decendants will be tax paying good citizens.

2) Quigley says
encouraging and promotion of immigrants who are utterly alien in culture, hostile to our values, and unable or unwilling to assimilate. This means mostly Muslims from intolerant sects from Somalia and Arabia as well as other horrid places like Pakistan.

This may be a problem, but we don't take in that many. And they are assimilated into the American Muslim population which is relatively moderate. But I'll grant you that this one is tricky.

3) Quigley says

This is mostly an outright and complete lie. You will not meet a descendant of a mexican immigrant that doesn't speak fluent English without any accent whatsoever, if they started school here at an age under 10 (maybe under 12). I'm saying this as a teacher in Los Angeles. THese are people that might serve in the military, and that will be tax paying citizens for life.
