President Obama wants to wrap up negotiations with Europe before he leaves office. Supporters say the deal will facilitate trade between the world's two biggest economic blocs and create more than a million jobs. The European Commission says it would be worth 545 euros ($620) to each European citizen every year. Yet nearly 3.5 million Europeans have already signed a petition against the deal, and hundreds of thousands marched in Berlin Sunday to voice their objections.

Excellent article...thanks for posting.
A million jobs would be created, yet many people oppose it. In any trade deal there are winners and losers with society as a whole benefiting. $620.00 per person in this case.
It's easy to identify some potential losers, but very difficult to point out who will get the million jobs. Hence the opposition to trade deals.
We need the whole world to be a free trade zone for the benefit of mankind. My guess.....it will happen by 2050.

What has that got to do with a trade deal? And he owns a lot of properties. That tends to make people wealthy.

Bigsby says

What has that got to do with a trade deal? And he owns a lot of properties. That tends to make people wealthy.

He owns (via mortgage debt) a few rental single family houses, which historically are much lower yielding than apartment buildings. The real big landlords own apartment buildings ("location, location, and location"), and/or entire blocks of houses, not a few single families. He talks the sh*t (like "Warren Buffet who shares my . . . "), it's all bullsh*t puffery. What real wealthy person would drive Uber for profit? Heck, I don't even consider myself wealthy, yet I would never let random stranger into either one of my $60k cars, for fear of being robbed, carjacked or even kidnapped for ransom money. That's why real wealthy people buy kidnap insurance for their family members. The operating cost of a luxury car itself would practically preclude making profit driving for Uber.

He's clearly stated on here what he owns. Once he sells, he'll have made a very nice profit indeed. He talked about his purchases in detail. He didn't embellish. It wasn't 'puffery.' This was a real estate forum until it morphed into what it is now, so it was entirely appropriate (and insightful) that he discussed what he discussed. He was also right when many others on here were wrong. What he does is entirely his concern. Why have you got a problem with it?

Things were fine until some guy got in there and was going to save the country.
Christ for the last three years, you clowns have been claiming Obama already saved us and everything is just hunky dorey.
If that were true, Hillary would be the most facinating person in the world right now instead Donald Hahaha Freakin' Trump.
That's how pathetic the Debbie What'sher face Schlutz party of the Debbiecrats have become.
