I think I might vomit.
Wait until after the TPP is the law of the land and the secret details are finally released. Then there will be very good reasons to vomit.
These traitors should be reversing the existing "free trade" (job shipping) agreements. They don't give a hoot about American workers, only about the multinational corporations who they really work for. This is what the ugly face of corruption looks like.
As a Japanese-speaker the TPP is an interesting conundrum.
I don't think Japan is going to reform its commercial sector, which is crooked top to bottom.
But any movement in this area would be interesting. I would love to do what the Pirate Joe's guy is doing in Vancouver, but in Tokyo, LOL.

Trader Joe's is the main thing keeping me in the US. And not moving to Maui for that matter, either. Costco is better than nothing but offers 1/20th the cooking options, and what I do buy there (e.g. taco seasoning) tends to last me a year anyway. (somewhat Japan-ified Costcos can be found throughout Japan now).
Like PPACA, Obama is willing to cut deals with the GOP if the compromise results in that 'Hope & Change' thing he was first elected on.
Except for the millions who've lost their jobs in manufacturing, we've all benefited from the cheap goods we now get from less developed countries.
Unfortunately, this is just a temporary remittance, as the money we've been saving on cheaper imports is soon beaten out of us at the doctor's office and the monthly check to our mortgage holder or LL.
This is all fixable, but we've got to train our guns on the true problems. As long as the parasitical 1% has its defenders, people aren't going to be able to see these true imbalances. Takes a lot of time, effort, and intelligence to really see who's really behind the curtain.

“It’s been almost an out of body experience but we’ve been working closely with the White House.â€
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell
Obama apparently has no sense of irony, speaking recently in favor of the TPP at Nike Headquarters in Portland.
Nike of course being a pioneer in outsourcing, virtually shuttering it's American manufacturing, and giving jobs to over a million people in other countries.
From the article: "The Obama administration is seeking to build a coalition of mostly Republicans and a few Democrats to back the trade bill, which lets the president send agreements in Congress for a quick vote without amendments.'
I think I might vomit.
