Vietnam, Indonesia, some south american countries in carrabean, few african countries and china.
Poor countries w/ higher level of happiness, hmmm. It seems like wealth has nothing to do with the happeness they feel. I don't know what makes them happy or why they think they're happy though, something better than simple patriotism should be there, otherwsie they're mentally masturbating.

Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) have the worlds happiest people, a recent government sponsored survey proves it.

If I add my own anecdotal experience, it seems that people in countries that are somewhat poor but have a good family network are happier than in Japan or even the US in general. But what do I know?
