Ever heard of the Wayback Machine?
I like this one best:

Plus, never knew he was an O'Reilly author:

First apparent housing blog page:

There have been probably over 1000 versions by now, since I made the site about housing in 2004 or so. Before that it was just my personal home page. I just edit the main html in vim, so there was never any obvious way to do diffs. HTML especially messes up diffs. I could save dated versions of it and let people view those, but it would still be hard to pick out the changes, which are often just grammatical or other minor things. If anyone knows of a good HTML diff tool let me know. Maybe one that just highlights changes, or has a popup of the previous text.
The Wayback machine is pretty good for snapshots over time.

Has anyone saved, or otherwise have access to (i.e. Patrick, would you please provide...) previous versions of Patrick's homepage. I want to see where and how his language changed from period to period.
I would love to see blacklined versions.
Whenever I see a new update, I often am not able to point out any differences so quickly (except for the recent shift about being not as much of a terrible time to buy in certain regions). C'mon - make it easy for us!
