It would help a great deal, if you would post some details about your situation. Otherwise, it really is impossible to have any idea what advice you need.
Yeah it appears he is buying a short sale home. How are you being misrepresented by your buyer agent? He showed you the house, and filled out the purchase agreement for you. He's done his job for his 3% already.

According to the OP, the seller agent is buyer's agent. Therefore, the bank holds all the cards, and the agent's goal is to get as much $$ as he can for this home. He'll get paid either way - his loyalty is to himself.
He should get a RE lawyer if he wants legal advice.

I am in the middle negotiating a deal on a short sale house, and feel that I am being misrepresented by my agent (he is also representing the bank). I have the negotiator from the banks contact information, and was wondering if I can deal with him directly going forward. Does anyone know the answer or have experience doing this?
