It means that the house recently sold for $74K. They get the info from the county sales records...
It means the brother-n-law of the country appraiser bought it from the bank.
It's happening every where and is never mentioned in the news. Keep watching in two months it will list for 170K and billed as having over 30K in equity. Of course it's just a hundred grand con job, and the sick part is, we tax payers will pay the Sap 8K to take it off his hands.
"Recently Sold" on Zillow
I'm looking at a 3 bedroom house that Zillow lists as having been "Recently Sold"
http://www.zillow.com/homedetails/26103-147th-Pl-SE-Kent-WA-98042/48965800_zpid/
The house has a "Zestimate" of plus $200,000
The sold price is $74,000.
What are they telling me?
Can I offer them $74,000? If so, who?
Is this just informational?
Is this house for sale?
Is Zillow designed to make people crazy?
