I think it's largely true - any short term rise in sea level is partially, if not completely absorbed into the Earth's crust from ocean fissures. Yes, short term, there might be a small increase, but does anyone with any reasonable level of physics and geology knowledge doubt that water pressure at the bottom of the ocean is more than sufficient to squeeze into any fissure, no matter how small, in the ocean crust? Why are the ocean crust fissures the most active regions of seismic activity across the globe? Water is a lubricant.

True, if water is locked up on land by the gigaton during ice ages, sea level falls for two reasons. Besides the obvious, it also depresses the centers of continents, which causes the edges, or continental shelves to rise.

Interesting theory but consider that CO2 was always just a trace element throughout all human existence. In no way did changing between one trace level to a slightly higher trace level have any effect on oxygen levels.
