I have no kids so have no position on the games for them or what it does to them. OC compulsiveness seems to be part of it, but I'll go weeks or months without playing until I find a game I like.

For me as an adult, I really like the computer games. 1. Stunning, beautiful scenarios 2. Dense mythologies over long story telling modes for many hours, allowing character development and themes. It's why so many movies now are spun off from computer games 3. oddly educational, because they also explore themes of history. Assassin Creed games have accurate replicas of historical towns, geography and all kinds of optional outtakes of history to read. Assassin's Creed Odessey took you all over Greece and Peloponnese and the Aegean Islands. One explored an Iraqi ziggurat and ancient city of Baghdad. 4. News made real in cyber worlds 5. puzzle solving 6. Many exotic themes, both social and technologic many of them predictive programming (Cyberpunk 77). One of the Tomb Raiders (and also an Assassin's Creed) explored everything from Egyptian pyramids to Area 51.

I have neighbors who think doing crossword puzzles makes them smart. If it does, I can't tell, because they are fatted propaganda calves with pretty mediocre analytic skills, and they are professional people. I would rather solve situations and puzzles in computer games.

Recent games: God of War Ragnorak, amazing and gorgeous game. Jedi Survivor, also fun and difficult in many parts. I'm working on Hogwart's Legacy, which is cinematically amazing, but don't know yet if I'll proceed, it's kind of too kiddy.

Maybe it's falling into the AI trap, maybe not. It is obvious that some of the games and their branching choices are Rorschach tests and versions of MMPI imposed on the game player, so they are also tools of surveillance and opinion monitoring. Recent crop are also tediously DEI as are all infiltrated media, but less obnoxious on that score than standard TV bullshit, so when you are in the move in the game you don't care as much.

Was Charlie Kirk promoting the idea that people should lose their jobs for expressing opinions?

Well, people are getting fired not for wielding guns or knives, but for saying words. Being OK with firing for words is a slippery slope towards being OK with killing for words. And "the other side is further downhill" is not really good excuse.

I know that our community is getting knicker twisted into a frothing frenzy defending the standard flash bang CK naradigm and get mad, but here is another nice summary of an 'alternative perspective' from Derek Johnson (ex military and military analyst). Open it at your hazard (or not). You can shield your eyes (and your mind) if you want. Other unpopular perspectives are also emerging. To me, it's like watching a flying saucer war, scary but hard to figure out who exactly the sides are or to what purpose. Lots of editorials out there trying to protect (or uncover) various agendas.

Damn fucking straight.

Nice guys get wiped out after watching their wives and daughters get gang raped first.

Gaming "addressed"
how?

It's regulation and law, but I literally laid it out. It's the reverse of drinking and smoking laws. Once you hit 25 you can no longer buy gaming systems and the games. Would be impossible most likely, but it would be a massive benefit to society. I'd venture to guess 30-40% of 40 year old guys game 2-5 hours a day.

Fact is most don't have kids. Think the movie 40 year old virgin. If you're outgoing you don't meet these guys generally because they're gaming. And ultimately it's just childish. It's probably one of the worst addictions you can have. Interferes with work, women and family formation. It's bad. Getting drunk or high you're at least going to screw a woman and potentially have a kids. Gaming, nope.

For someone my age, I need people to fill in the void when I'm 60-65. Start fucking and get off the Xbox and Playstation.

Mysteriously, the ordinarily voluble Theveßen has gone silent.

That's because State Dept is making noises about banning him from the US.

I remember 30 years ago that media pundits were warning about the subculture that lives and thrives in first person shooting games.

Seems like the chickens have come home to roost since then.

Whatever your opinion of the origins, it looks like Charlie was given 'the silver or the bullet option' in "selling" (more like the oligarch officers) Turning Point to Ben Shapiro. The incident casts shade (or light), but you would have to presume that gang stalkers have gone truly mad with entitlement to overtly just murder in public over Kirk's changing positions. If the assassination was a psyops, was it illustrating a state of the state of things? A lot of stuff is being exposed, which, I guess, might be the plan. The amplification went from a firecracker to a bunker buster.

Felony threats are also words, but they are seriously illegal and should remain so.

The left is experimenting with just how far it can go towards yelling "KILL A CONSERVATIVE NOW!" in public without getting prosecuted.

No one on the right is saying anything like that.

UT AG Grey: Father became concerned when reports of the Rifle discovered matched that given to Robinson by his Grandfather
https://x.com/comlabman/status/1968031387174441417

Utah County Attorney Jeff Grey says the mother of the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination said her son had become “over the last year or so...more political and had started to lean more to the left, becoming more pro-gay and trans-rights oriented.”

“She stated that Robinson began to date his roommate, a biological male who was transitioning genders.”

https://x.com/CurtisHouck/status/1968021497617801318

Utah County Attorney Jeff Grey says the transgender roommate/lover of the alleged Charlie Kirk assassin “received messages from Robinson about the shooting, and he did provide those messages to police.” In one text exchange, the suspect said he killed Kirk because he “had enough of his hatred” and “some hate can’t be negotiated out”

He also quipped he would “have a stroke” if he saw Fox News mention the messages written on the bullets

Cancel Culture: Firing or for having personal views.
Not Cancel Culture: Firing schoolteachers, health care professionals, and others for celebrating and lionizing the assassination of a non-violent person.

You can't have an "Ethics Tutor" or K-12 "SEL" Teacher who thinks it's okay to assassinate people who merely like to debate

Ackman and Charlie had no beef at the retreat at all, according to TPUSA :

Seth Dillon: No argument during the open meeting Charlie hosted.

Ackman should sue Candass.

Pretzeling. It's all persecuting people for personal opinion, corner cases nonwithstanding. The left demanded people get fired for saying the n-word or questioning the holiness of St. George Floyd or being a doctor and disagreeing with the vaccine mandate (a direct analogy for "ethics teacher saing CK had it coming", btw). How quickly we forget.

Same Thread. Data Republican brings the receipts of State Department funding, too.

Almost every group in your local area involved with "Peace" or "Conflict Resolution" is full of UltraLeft extremists.

Let me emphasize.

SLC Armed Queers is not "adjacent" to the honor that Ermiya Fanaeian got from Utah Global Diplomacy.

Utah Global Diplomacy specifically awarded her for her work with trans people, of which SLC Armed Queers is key.

This may be why they scrubbed their pages.

nope as Bill Ackman is as much a "limited public figure" or "public figure" as George Soros Jr or Bill Gates

and Candace Owens expressed her opinion on Ackman's actions and behavior around Charlie Kirk

she is at least protected by SCOTUS case law like NY Times vs Sullivan

and its not a clear-cut matter like Trump suing ABC News for stating he was a "convicted rapist" as that is "clearly or obviously untrue"

so how his Ackman going to clearly prove he did not try to intervene or extort or coerce Charlie Kirk, even if it was indirect action ?

This is what I was stating as far as FBI finally throwing away the Biden regime's handbook that AntiFa does not exist

This is like going after the Italian mafia or some transnational organize crime syndicate as you have to draw a network map of all the nodes or players with these NGO's on it and Tyler Robinson as well with the "online gaming community" being as one line or conduit between Robinson and the intermediaries

Teachers have been fired for running a bikini hot dog stand in another state during summer break.

Or for flashing their boobs at a festival Key West.

Neither event was promoted by the teacher, but rather simply reported on by a third party.

I think we can fire teachers for saying it's okay to kill people who want to debate, and for going out and saying that publicly.
