Zohran Mamdani is thus following in the footsteps of his illustrious forebears. I walked in to the voting place, and an oldster (70's/80's) couldn't hear me pronounce my name. I then said loudly, "MAYBE IT WOULD BE EASIER IF I SHOWED YOU MY ID." At that point, the other poll workers told my oldster that the verification machine could scan ID's. He did so, and I got my ballot. This was in the PRNY.
