That's a totally fair assessment if you consider yourself a pacifist. I have no problems with people advocating this route. Sure this doesn't always work and probably wouldn't have worked throughout whole history, but the argument that we must stop the next Hitler has.become stale and suffered a lot of damage when used to justify bombing and toppling Iraq after it had already been put in place. There are plenty of dictatorship style regimes oppressing their people to varying degrees, but there hasn't been a war mongering nation since WW2, 99% of conflicts have been of regional nature. And the US had an oppressive dictatorship under the xiden regime, not full blown, but with human rights violations galore, close to forced iniculations, camps and curfews for those not falling in line, and many had their livelihoods (jobs) destroyed, and (J6 etc.) dissidents rotting in prisons. There were actually countries calling themselves democracies which had concentration camps, so I think once again the moral high ground has become more of a moral quicksand for many Western countries during the scamdemic years. Not really far away from a theocracy or dictatorship.

Yeah. The people who were digging nuke shelters with their bare hands in their backyards at the news of ATACMS hitting some comand post in Voronezh should definitely start digging a new one now. But instead they bray that bombing some other country is not really a war.
If it's not a war, supplying weapons to an ally is even less so.

We are less than 6 months into the Term. Promises aren't broken unless they aren't delivered by end of term.

Maybe we have endless wars because war is the only industry the US has not shipped off to China.

Remember WWII? The major manufacturers (auto, steel, energy, etc.) all switched to war production. Ford made B25 Mitchell bombers.

We need radical diversification of manufacturing away from war machines and directed to making the lives of American families easier and more affordable.
