Trump’s centerpiece bill narrowly passed in the House of Representatives last week and will need to go before the Senate. The legislation aims to prevent an end-of-year tax increase and raises the limit on the already staggering US debt by a further $4 trillion.

Musk, who recently stepped down as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has repeatedly criticized the bill, claiming it compromises his efforts to trim the fat off the federal budget.

“I'm sorry, but I just can’t stand it anymore. This massive, outrageous, pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination,” he wrote on X on Tuesday.

“Shame on those who voted for it: you know you did wrong. You know it,” he added.

It's like when you go to a lawyer to 'plan' your bankruptcy (most bankruptcies are for relatively minor amounts). However, a lot of crook types plan their bankruptcies far into the future. They tell you to exhaust all your credit sources to the max, max out your credit cards etc. etc. to buy stuff you may need for the interim or that can be liquidated later, and how to hide assets or protect them beyond the reach of the bankruptcy, or just because you can since you will be in the same boat no matter what.

As long as there is a Babylonian willing to extend the debt slavery from their funny fake money printing presses, then fuck them, they'll never get their fake money back again. It was NEVER about legitimate debt to begin with, it was about control, intimidations, and criminal extortions.

I say go for it and get the biggest, meanest budget you can, because Trump clearly has a plan for the impending official bankruptcy. No reason to destabilize things until then.

Most of these 'billionaires' and 'billionaire officers of the Global elite' touted for effect on the agog, drooling, knuckle dragging pop populace don't technically 'own' much of anything. They control trusts or they are the beneficiaries of somebody's else's trusts who control them. As a control grid, much of their 'worth' can be snatched back to the control grid trusts in short order if they don't obey.

us working people pay all the taxes, while tax system is so unfair that some billionaires pay nothing and they openly brag about it.

For those saying do separate bills, each would then require 60 votes (needing Schumer) instead of 50. Reconciliation is a special process each fiscal year where you can make fiscal changes with 50 votes. That’s why BBB is the vehicle for tax cuts, deportations and welfare reform.

the “big beautiful bill” is a porkulous calamity where a weaksauce gormless opposition party played business as usual to run up debt by overspending and trump, in direct contrast to the claims he ran on, cheer led it. he’s siding with the RINO frails in congress over the american people on SALT giveaways and entitlements and 5000 little private clownshows. it’s an awful, business as usual bill resembling nothing so much as sugar loaded suet marketed as protein bars.

a stand was promised and this was the time to take one. instead, we “have to pork the bill to pass the bill” and keep these lameo fake fiscal conservatives in congress. trump proved to be just another “run on balanced budget rule on giant deficits” republican.

I also got a kick out of Rand Paul saying he wont vote for it because it includes raising the debt ceiling, though he would vote for the rest of it.... so he'd vote in favor of the deficit spending as long as he reserves the right to complain about it later when its time to pay the bill... what a jackass.

At least Elon is self-consistent about not deficit spending in the first place.

This was all set up to be this way. The Freedom Clowns want the Spending Limit raised in December 2024, though they raised it Summer 2023 for Xiden.

Everything the Freedom Cuckoos have done is about trying to stop Trump from consolidating MAGA policies in the one annual bill that only requires 50 Senate votes.

"Muh separate bills" would require 60 votes, which means nothing that isn't laden with pork (and thus big spending) and token only policy changes can pass.

At that point, it's not about RINOs, since to get 60 Senate Votes some Democrats would have to come on board. Dems who don't want Grandma MeiMei not getting the Medicare despite the fact she only came to the USA at 72 years old from Taipei and Mr. Jiang the Tech Bro who makes $250k/year swore to support her to the Immigration Service and despite abandoning her, she makes dinner every night for her son and his family. Ditto for Chinese and Ukrainian anchor baby births.

It was always about stopping Immigration Enforcement, not any deficit concerns.
