I signed up with Tenpoundbass but the @Tenpoundbass was already taken.

I was disappointed to find the sign up process made you select 3 categories, none of which I was interested in.
They don't have a Politics category or a News category. Just buillshit categories like Gamers, Music, Science, Entertainment, Food and crap like that.
The home page is just a bunch of bullshit, and all of the best posts or memes, I have already seen on Gab, here or posted on The Gateway Pundit.
It seems to be a haven for TDS suffers, and wet blanket sour graptards, whining about Trump while pretending to Republicans.

Gab might be slow, but the ratio of on point posts compared to the sheer volume of unadulterated crap on Xwitter is astounding.

I'll give it a few days then delete my account.

My take on Twitter, it's like a confused mind with racing thoughts, none of them cohesive or lucid. Just unfocused noise.
It's by design if people didn't have to wade through thousands of posts to get to the few nestled citizen journalist news items, or posts made by exiled news orgs. X would be the only news source for the majority of the world with access to X.

The fact that there's not a Political or News, National News, Regional News, or World News categories, is very telling on the intentional dumbification of the platform. Gab is awesome that there's a category for any topic you can dream of, and if there isn't you can create one.

Also Gab isn't swamped as much stupidity as X. They both have their share of anti Trump posts, where the one posting the thread, takes a positive Trump news story and puts a Jew bashing twist on it. But at least on Gab, the great content vastly outweighs those posts. They seem to dominate Xwitter.

Done! I had my moniker as Tenpoundbass, but the @Tenpoundbass was already taken by Ten Pounder. Probably someone from the Fender Guitar forum years ago took it. As that what they would refer to me as in posts directed at me.

Since @Tenpoundbass was already taken I went with @CaptainShuddap so it makes since to match my handle to it.

OK not even a month in and I have realized that X is a load of bullshit, not nearly half as authentic as Patnet.

First of all unless you have a blue check mark and is a paid subscriber, your posts will not get any views. You would be hard press to find one comment or reply from someone that does not have a blue checkmark. They all can't be paid subscribers.

Second problem the site seems to exist to kiss Elon's, Anita Broderick, Catturd, and James Wood's ass. If you're not them, then it sucks to be you on that platform.
third issue, I signed up with my phone number, then earlier this week my account got locked demanding my email as well, citing "Suspicious activity"
After much internal debate I gave in and supplied it this morning. I made one reply to a Catturd post where he was boasting about his rip off lunch in Florida. Then I got a notification claiming my account has a red flag on it, because I might be engaging in some kind of Twitter rigging. Posting content that doesn't constitute ass kissing to their esteemed personalities I guess constitutes suspicious activity.

I'm done the place sucks, and Elon is making a case for Liberals to bring him down with his constant gloating, trolling, and grandstanding.
He's trying to do like Trump, but at least Trump sticks with the facts.
