Who do you think will resign, how many will resign, and will the Democrats or Republicans send better quality lawmakers to replace them, or will they double down. This thread is to monitor the hard knock road to 2026.

Raskin is already circling the drain, he's been seeking help for TDS, which is incurable. He might find Jesus but who knows.

Exclusive–James Comer Mocks Jamie Raskin for Undergoing ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’ Therapy
House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer slammed House Judiciary Committee Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) in an exclusive statement to Breitbart News for undergoing therapy by professional psychologists to overcome “Trump Derangement Syndrome” or “TSD.”

During a retreat last week for Judiciary Democrats, Raskin — the new ranking member of the key panel — hosted Jim Coan, a University of Virginia professor of psychology, and Hal Movius, a consultant who specializes in “negotiation,” “influence,” “emotion regulation,” “leadership” and “organizational development.”

Coan’s “recent work emphasizes the neural systems supporting social forms of emotion regulation,” according to his bio with UVa. The retreat was held at the Library of Congress.

The purpose of the session, according to multiple attendees, was to counsel Democrats about how to approach conflict and effectively combat what Raskin described as “authoritarian styles of speech.” Another attendee said Judiciary Democrats were also advised to avoid devolving into partisan mud-slinging — a more common hallmark of the House Oversight Committee, which Raskin previously led as the top Democrat.

Maybe they should just move Congress to Guantanamo and let them vote from their cells. We'll call it the 'orange suit' Congress.

This thread isn't only for our Hopium expectations, I suspect more will resign out of frustration when they realize the premise their whole career has been based on is now defunct and obsolete. These people are not public service minded, they didn't get into potlics to play nice and make people happy. They want to make a lot of fucking money, feel like they have massive power and control over the people they serve, and has mastered trouncing their civil liberties, and constitutional rights to get what they want. They are incapable of even considering or helping an America first agenda, they are in it for a "Me First" agenda.
That's why so many Republican's retired over the last few years. Because they couldn't change the key of the tired song they were playing. The Republican voters wanted to hear the MAGA hits. It pisses them off, Trump hijacked things and fucked everything up. It's why they hated him and enabled the Commies to do their worse to him.

Now some that are flat out guilty of doing the bidding to stop Trump in unlawful ways, they will make an exit too, but none of those will surprise anyone.
Joyous yes, but surprised no. Like Raskin for example that's why he's going to be easy to predict he will exit real soon as the J6 committee investigations heat up.
