Thinking about getting a physical or digital one for myself and the kids.

There's too much reliance on Wikipedia.

Randal Carlson uses physical volume kind from before 1964 or earlier, because he believes there is too much revised history and disinformation after that.

While I tend to agree with that sentiment, memory holing has been going on since humans existed. Unless you have a physical hand written copy or it's on a cave wall it could all be made up. Hence why I don't believe in religion. Hell I don't even trust images now digitally. They could all be altered.

The University of Michigan had the "Great Soviet Encyclopedia", which would routinely send out alternate pages as politics changed in the USSR, lol. All the libraries were supposed to throw out old pages and replace them with the new ones, but UM simply kept them all, which made interesting reading.

When I was little, my maternal grandfather bought an old (1946) set of the Encyclopedia Brittanica in a nice wooden case for me and my siblings.

In spite of being old, it was extremely good. I spent tons of time just flipping through it when I was bored.

I bet there are lots of old encyclopedia sets for sale cheap at Good Will and similar thrift shops.

I used to read that back at school. Very objective in science giving credit where credit is due, but unbelievable bias in politics and economics.

I see what you did there.

That alludes to the conception of Justin Castro Trudeau. Remember - Carribean cruise, one stop deliberately not entered in the log, etc.

Mom was a psycho nymphomaniac KommieKunt groupie, fake-Daddy was a homo pedo perv, real Daddy was a brutal psychopathic Communist dictator, and I killed my brother (or more likely human sacrifice to Satan). What could possibly go wrong?
