I'm old enough to remember when there were actually straight males as 1. teachers 2. principals
The teacher in this case is a dimwit; she is associating the kid with other groups who also like that flag.
Just because some 2nd Amendment guys like that flag, or rednecks may like that flag, or who knows who likes that flag, does not make the flag "racist" and doesn't make the kid a racist either.

I'm sure why that's surprising, charter schools are still part of the federal system of indoctrination. What is surprising, I assumed this was in Boulder. Colorado Springs is a pretty conservative area that I know of, not sure how this teacher got her job.
