I don't know. It seems to me their best option would be controlling the people that want to be controlled and let the independent people live on their own terms. Instead, they're coercing people that want to be independent into doing things they don't want to do (mandates, overregulation, excess taxes) thus creating conflict. It's only a small amount of people in the world that get involved with power politics and no one else really cares until they're forced to.

I personally never cared about the bullshit US nutritional suggestions because no one was forcing me to eat 200gs of carbs. I cared when they tried to force me to wear a mask to take in history at a museum or buy books. I cared when they tried to jab me just to work. Why the hell can't these busybodies just leave some people alone? Why does it have to be everyone?

They want to get rid of all independence (growing your own food, etc) and make everyone depend on the "largesse of the State." Optics. They don't want normies to look around and see unjabbed people or (countries or states) operating normally. Getting rid of the "control group" is important to them.
