The Russian government is operating a systematic network of at least 40 child custody centers for thousands of Ukrainian children, a potential war crime, according to a new report by Yale University researchers in a collaboration with the U.S. State Department in a program to hold Russia accountable.

Russian officials do not deny Ukrainian children are now in Russia, but insist the camps are part of a vast humanitarian project for abandoned, war-traumatized orphans and have been surprisingly public with social media messaging aimed at a Russian audience. Russia does not, however, acknowledge how many children are in Russia or where they are housed.

Solves problem #1: Russian demographic collapse.These kids are ethnically Slavs. And if the camps are a staging area for later adoption into Russian families, we'll know for sure.

Solves problem #1a: Eventually makes up for losses Russia is experiencing with their primary family forming cohort being drafted. They ain't making Russian families while they are fighting.

Solves problem #2: Getting Ukranian civilians facing the spring onslaught of 300,000 Russian 'baby snatching' troops invading. Millions of Ukey civvies fearing that their 'abandoned' children will be snatched will flee west. Overwhelming Ukey transportation infrastructure and flooding into Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.

And if the Russians are smart to.have a private org like a PMC do this, then the Russian Army will not be committing any war crimes.
