#ukrainewarcasualties Some sad news has come out of this Tehran summit. Iran changed course and decided to sell "several hundred" military drones to Russia. Some pundits claim that President Biden's visit to Saudi Arabia deeply upset the Iranian leadership.
Love them or hate them, Iranians can be excellent engineers. Their drones will be effective. Ukraine is becoming a testing ground where many different countries can test their military equipment in a real war.
Neither Ukraine nor Russia will be honest about their civilian and military losses. I suspect that Russia has had around 40,000 military personnel killed and another 120,000 wounded. I suspect that Ukraine has similar losses. I can only rely on a statistic saying that for each military death on the battlefield, 8 civilians die. This means we could have already had 320,000 Ukrainian civilian deaths. What I see coming is a repeat of the Iran-Iraq war of the 1980s with over one million casualties.

Wtf are you smoking?

The Vietnam war lasted 10 years and there was 58k American deaths.

The 8 civilian deaths to 1 military death is the assumption of total deaths he's making. I find that hard to believe as a ratio. A lot of civilians have left the battle areas. So yes, smoking something is occurring. You don't stay in a war zone if you have a family and are non-military.

He also posts nonsense daily and never responds, so either dementia or smoking for sure.

You say that based on what? What has the Iranians produced that the world would covet?

Their drones are RC toys, with crude weapons attached. This is propaganda psyche news more than a story meant to instill fear.

Brandon does the empty fist bump with the Mullahs, the next day they are giving playthings to Putin.

This is something people seem to miss. A billion dollar piece of equipment is really impressive, but 10 cheap pieces of equipment that accomplish the same task that cost $1000 each, is a better solution.

The MIC is so obviously setup to SPEND MONEY, NONE Of it is meant to win a war. Eventually, somebody is going to get fucking serious about a war or an attack and they will do it cheap and smart, not expensive and stupid. How much damage could you do with a bunch of RC drones that flew by GPS and were carrying thermite weapons to burn down a city?

Eventually somebody is going to do something like that.

Why do soldiers STILL have weapons that they have to be behind? They just need a weapon that can be stabilized, that they can change its aim at, and they can be 5 or 500 feet away from it. If you JUST want to kill people, it's trivial.

The "defense" industry doesn't give a FUCK about winning a war.

Several years ago a manufacturer of guns made a weapon that would calculate distance extremely accurately. You'd pick a point on the animal to shoot, and then the gun would guide you to the trajectory you had to aim in order to hit it. It was a sniper weapon. The gun would fire as soon as you reached that point. Military had no interest in it.

Eventually a military is going to be like "fuck it, we need to win this war".

How can I ignore this asshole (ohomen) if he doesn't reply?

I don't see an ignore option on OP's.

Maybe that's why he never replies.

Where's the fun in that?

It's good to hear the other side. Occasionally they have something interesting to say. Even if they don't get the logic of your rebuttal of their flawed ideas, at least they're listening.

First, I don't ignore anybody.

Second, what you are saying is that @ohomen171 is essentially spam. It's a person that won't even think. It's like sending an email to the editor or a journalist.

I ignored the two Indian and Sihk dudes. The constant back and forth and posting 5 times about stuff no one cared or engaged about was annoying as hell.

You have a country of 1B+ and there's not a local forum for you to bitch about it there? Nope, bitch about it to a bunch of mostly Californians. I get India (Indians) are in the tech sector, but it got completely retarded. So I put them on ignore.

This is what happens when America gets involved into color revolutions in Eastern Europe. This is the result.

if we make up numbers the way msm does, why stop at 40000? 20 million ukrainians and 10 million russians died yesterday, another 10 million by August. This is just like COVID!!!! So please socially distance and wear masks to reduce risk of dying from tanks and rockets and things. 2 masks for extra safety.
