Patrick, are you running the server from your home? Or is it the amount of info you've posted over the years? Not to grind an axe here, but yet another example of why privacy is important. Although seems really unlikely anything would come from this.

If your gun is a 9mm, make sure all your clips are loaded. 9's are not the strongest, so plan on multiple hits if it ever comes to that.

Keep the server behind the reverse proxy to add a bit of privacy.

I've been here a while now and the way the guy posted he's been here. Came and went a few times based on the format of posting, just with different usernames.

What I don't get is it's a website. Words on a screen. Just because you have beliefs, doesn't mean they're right. I've been wrong on many things publicly posted here. Oh well. I'm not losing any sleep over it.

If you enjoy the site stay, if not there are a million other forums out there you can join. So if you don't like it leave. No need to threaten another human who is hosting a website. Better yet, create your own forum, see how that is. I just don't understand how some people take this shit personally here. Grow up. And this is coming from a generally angry person. Patrick, it's time for you to write and pitch a screenplay with your story.

I've been following your site since the previous Housing Bubble. There's some great material for a screenplay.

First, there's your notoriety in the early days of your site for being a contrarian. Then some interesting stories:

- the SF-and-Wine-Country lady who was married to an SF attorney who outed that then-mayor Newsom for cheating on his then-wife Guilfoyle long before Newsome and Guilfoyle separated;

- that ®ealtor / math professor in Arizona who made a death threat against someone on your site;

- the story about turtledove, which is fodder for a Dateline episode;

- Now DooDahMan.

You probably got a lot more. Each of these could be an episode in a mini-series.

There was also some krazy krazy asian guy that posted about 10 to 14 years ago on Patnet. His grammar was somewhat comical even if it was intentionally incorrect.
