Stacey Plaskett, the Democratic congressional delegate representing the US Virgin Islands, won her election in 2014. She may owe her victory in part to Jeffery Epstein's donations, which were found to have come in after his conviction of solicitation of prostitution of a minor in 2008.

The emails were revealed as part of court documents in the lawsuit the Virgin Islands filed against JP Morgan.

In a May 9 deposition, Plaskett said she met with Epstein in his New York City townhouse in September of 2018 to discuss a potential $30,000 donation to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. This meeting would occur less than a year before Epstein would be arrested on federal charges for the sex trafficking of minors that placed him in jail, where he would later be found dead.

In a June 18 appearance on MSNBC, Plaskett was heard telling the host that 2024 GOP frontrunner Donald Trump needs "to be shot," before correcting herself and saying he needs to be "stopped."

The unsealed documents outline a decade-long association involving direct solicitations for money, personal meetings, and employment at a law firm deeply connected to Epstein's shadowy network.

Plaskett not only repeatedly sought financial contributions from Epstein and had multiple face-to-face encounters with him, but she also worked directly for a St. Thomas-based law firm that played a role in cultivating influence for Epstein's clandestine activities.

In June 2023, Plaskett appeared to call for Trump to be shot before immediately correcting herself to say “stopped.”

“You know, having Trump, not only have had the codes, but now having the classified information for Americans, and being able to put that out and share it in his resort, with anyone and everyone who comes through, should be terrifying to all Americans.”

Plaskett first met Epstein after identifying him as a “potential donor” during her 2014 bid for Congress.

This was several years after Epstein was convicted and jailed for child sex crimes.

She visited his St. Thomas office, met him multiple times, and admitted under oath that she spoke with him on the phone at least five times.

Asked if the number exceeded 10, she replied: “I do not recall.” ...

Epstein-linked donors poured money into Plaskett:

Plaskett acknowledged all these contributions in her deposition.

She also sought funds from Epstein for the Virgin Islands Democratic Party, netting another $13,000.

Her fundraising efforts were so aggressive that she even pitched Epstein directly at his Manhattan mansion in late 2018, inside the notorious “House of Horrors” townhouse where he entertained billionaires, politicians, royal family members, and foreign intelligence-linked operatives.
