Politicians lie, but for a first time meeting a Federal House representative, she was chill and I don't agree with her politics. My former state rep was there too and my kids hang out with his grandkids.

My role is minor in the funding we're getting. $2M is a lot of fucking money to most people, especially in small town America. We'll hopefully get it if the Senate approves the bill later this fall or winter. It's earmarked for our project in basically a pork barrel bill. Kind a crazy to be honest.

Careful. People getting you to believe they are more interested in serving you than in advancing themselves is the basis of most con jobs.
