Ok, looks like the government bought 105 million doses of Pfizer's Omicron vaccine and 66 million doses of Modern's. The government also has the option of going to 300 million doses each.

The government isn't authorizing the 2nd booster this summer for people under 50 unless they have serious health issues. They are worried about vaxx exhaustion.

There is going to be a massive fear propaganda campaign around September when it is expected that new and improved vaxxes will be approved. They gotta stick at least 150 million people. I dunno with even LA county backing down on the mask requirement they're gonna have to fearmonger something extraordinary to get the people to get stuck again..but at least it will be free.

Any bets on how many they will get to get this latest vaxx???

Hmm, conveniently around the time of the mid-terms.

This will be fun to watch. So many people got vaccinated against their will the first time around but refused the boosters. Various places are trying to make booster shots mandatory (“up to date”) but for the most part they have to stop at “fully vaccinated.”

There’s no way they can mandate this new booster for those who aren’t already on the booster treadmill.

And funny thing, they can’t advertise it as “safer” trying to rope in the hesitant, because that would be admitting the earlier ones were dangerous after all. Perhaps it will be “more effective” in that it won’t damage the immune system as much.

My work requires vacine without a waiver, so 90+ % are vaccinated. Last year we had about 350 people out for covid this year we passed 350 before the middle of the year. The vacine did nothing. This covid cold is bullshit, glad I never got vax.
