Over the same period, the percentage of unvaccinated individuals with a positive test result for SARS-CoV-2 remains more or less the same.

Please comment critically with respect for vaccinated and unvaccinated persons."

"Thank you. I am, of course, the last to discriminate against the unvaccinated or the vaccinated; I don't do this, if only on the basis of science; it justifies anything but such discrimination. The increase is, in my opinion, due to reduced binding of S-specific neutralizing antibodies, which increases virus infectivity and therefore also the number of (unfortunately not registered!) cases of mild to moderate disease in vaccinated people (not so much 'serious' disease for the time being). In the vaccinated, however, disease leads much more to positive natural selection pressure (on S) than to full-fledged acquired immunity. This is always the case when the immune system is boosted against the same antigen in the presence of still existing (in this case vaccine) antibodies. Consequently, I am of the opinion that illness in evacuees leads to the promotion of variants that are increasingly resistant to anti-S antibodies than it would contribute to herd immunity. In fact, disease in vaccinated people promotes everything but herd immunity, on the contrary."
