But how can this be true? We are constantly told that critical race theory (CRT) is a myth...like voter fraud is.

Because they want to remain eligible for the gubberment's monies and favor. It's how a totalitarian system works.

Where, when, and by whom?

I rent camping sites on my mountain property through Hipcamp. Last year they unveiled an "inclusiveness policy" based on CRT and intersectional feminism, that links to the ADL as its canonical database of "hate symbols." It's hilariously myopic, calling out supremacy groups for "conspiracy theories that Jews secretly control the world" in a document almost completely populated with anti-semitism or things directly connected with it. I reached out to numerous groups that are natural enemies of CRT and feminism, seeking people to join a campaign against this. Everywhere, crickets. Nobody even responded so much as "Yeah that's bad."

Just went to their site. Laughing my ass off with all the pictures of camping/hiking Blacks. I've seen plenty of Blacks have picnics at parks, and I know exactly 1 Black Family out of about 100 sites in an RV Park, but I have never, ever seen a Black Adult hiking or camping. ONCE, when I was a kid, there were a few NYC Black kids dragged out for a day hike at Bear Mountain.

Jewish women cooking is far more frequent than Black Hiking/Camping.

Seriously, the heavy handed Propaganda is ridiculous at this point.

Come to think of it we did the Utah NP circuit last fall, I don't recall seeing a black person besides my nephew. Tons of Asians and I presume Chinese. Black people don't hike, kind of weird, but they are only ~13% of the population. Most inner city, so 1 in 10 to 15 should be normal I suppose. Didn't see one now that I think about it.

We're gonna do some St. John hikes next week. Already feeling the lack of sunlight here in IL. Last time in St. John didn't get to hike because of my fucking heel being broken. I kept all the equipment and my neighbor tore damn near all the ligaments in his foot 2 weeks ago, so he gets to use it this fall.

This is why I tell my kids to be friends with as many people as you can. He's got my knee scooter and comfortable crutches. That family helped me out when I broke the heel. Between business and favors, it's good to know people.

When I was growing up there were a couple mixed kids in my Boy Scout troop who probably identified as black.

But most black people avoid the lesser populated parts of the western US. I think it’s not an aversion to camping, I think it’s probably much more of a misguided notion that they’ll encounter racism/dangerous situations.

Then again, I’ve been camping at California coastal sites probably 20 times in my life and don’t recall ever seeing a black family.
