Judge Blocks Biden Administration From Doling Out Grants Based on Race, Gender
BY ZACHARY STIEBER May 19, 2021
A federal judge in Texas this week blocked the Biden administration from prioritizing grants in a COVID-19 restaurant relief program by their race or gender.
A Duval County teacher has been terminated from classroom instruction for refusing to remove a Black Lives Matter banner from the wall outside her classroom, violating Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ ban of Critical Race Theory (CRT) in public schools.
“The commissioner referred to censure, firing, and termination in his answer at Hillsdale College,” Cheryl Etters, Interim Director of Communications for the Florida Department of Education (FDOE), told The Epoch Times. “All are recommendations he makes to the Office of Professional Practices Services on an ongoing basis and are well within his power.”
The FDOE’s “Office of Professional Practices Services (PPS) investigates misconduct by educators who hold a Florida Educator Certificate or a valid application for a Florida Educator Certificate.”
“In referring to the Jacksonville case,” Etters clarified to The Epoch Times, “he used ‘terminate’ to indicate the decision to terminate the teacher from classroom instruction. This was done by the district, and the commissioner was in agreement. Obviously, the commissioner possesses significant authority to ensure every child has access to a world-class education free from indoctrination.”
Donofrio is suing (pdf) the Duval County Public School system and High School Regional Superintendent Scott Schneider, claiming her termination for not adhering to the principles outlined in Rule 6A-10.081 of Florida’s Administrative Code violated her right to free speech. She is demanding a jury trial.
According to the principles outlined in the rule, teachers “shall not intentionally expose a student to unnecessary embarrassment or disparagement,” and “shall not harass or discriminate against any student on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national or ethnic origin, political beliefs, marital status, handicapping condition, sexual orientation, or social and family background and shall make reasonable effort to assure that each student is protected from harassment or discrimination.”
“Governor DeSantis has made clear his position on CRT,” Executive Office of the Governor Press Secretary Christina Pushaw explained exclusively to The Epoch Times on Wednesday. “It is divisive, irrational, and has no place in our classrooms. CRT is rooted in Marxism, an anti-American ideology that has caused untold suffering and death everywhere it has been implemented. Moreover, CRT teaches discrimination based on ethnicity and racial background.”
“The governor has zero tolerance for state-sanctioned racism,” Pushaw emphasized, stressing that DeSantis adheres to the same principle expressed by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in that he “believes that every child should learn to judge people not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
Trump’s 1776 Commission to Reassemble, Tackle Critical Race Theory in History Education
BY GQ PAN May 21, 2021
Members of the 1776 Commission, which President Joe Biden disbanded on his first day in White House, are reportedly set to meet again with a renewed focus on combating the teaching of U.S. history based on the Marxist critical race theory.
The advisory commission was established by the Trump administration in November 2020 to celebrate and promote the principles enshrined in the nation’s founding documents. It is commonly seen as a response to The New York Times’ controversial 1619 Project, which argues that the United States was founded as, and remains today, a racist nation.
Nearly four months after its dissolution, the commission regained attention when a leading member spoke against a Biden administration’s proposal to prioritize funding education programs that promote the 1619 Project and critical race theory, an ideology rooted in Marxist class struggle but with an emphasis on race, with the goal of dismantling all institutions of American society, which it deems as tools of racial oppression.
“The Proposed Rule should be withdrawn, just as individual states, which actually have the authority over the nation’s K-12 educational system, should oppose race-based pedagogy as part of their curricula and even if attempted to be imposed by the federal government,” Matthew Spalding, the executive director of the 1776 Commission, wrote in a letter to the Education Department.
“On behalf of my fellow Commissioners, I submit and draw your attention to Appendix III of The 1776 Report,” Spalding added. The appendix explains why race-focused narratives like the 1619 Project and critical race theory are “fundamentally incompatible” with the principles of the Declaration of Independence, which connects liberty-loving Americans everywhere regardless of their race. ...
“When we start going about dividing people by groups, by social identities, and especially by identities that deal with race, and we’re starting to make those kinds of divisions, all Americans should get very nervous,” said Spalding. “It’s a departure away from the historic grounding of civil rights in America, which is that we all are equal.”
The commission’s first and last report, commonly referred to as the 1776 Report, was taken down after Biden’s inauguration. It can still be found on the publicly archived Trump White House and Hillsdale College websites.
Winning: Popular radio host quits live after being told he needs to stop joking about Demi Lovato's pronouns. His desperate boss reached out to offer him his job back.
Naturally, I'm very excited to see such a fine bit of a story floating around on the internet. Let's sum this up real quick:
Wednesday morning, Demi Lovato did that thing people talked about for like 12 hours where she changed her pronouns or something like that.
This "news" hit while "Matty In The Morning" was on air, and Matt Seigel, a legend even before this little incident, started joking about it – because it's dumb, and it deserves to be joked about.
His boss chimed in at a certain point and told him not to joke like that because he might offend people.
Matty didn't like that too much, so he started talking about his boss' lecture on the air... and then he got up and left.
Just when you think racial agitators can’t get more outrageous and ridiculous, they do. We see fruits of this evil obsession every single day.
Throughout the pandemic, the media preached that historical racism in the United States disproportionately impacted African Americans. Hollywood bombards us with race-shaming on show after show, using fictional characters to lecture us on the pervasiveness of white supremacy, stirring racial resentment and division in the name of healing. ...
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot announced that she will grant individual interviews only to journalists of color. She slammed the media for not sufficiently addressing “institutionalized racism” in their organizations, noting that her decision was part of her lifelong battle to fight for diversity and inclusion. She’s evidently oblivious to the self-contradiction of her position.
“I have been struck since my first day on the campaign trail back in 2018 by the overwhelming whiteness and maleness of Chicago media outlets, editorial boards, the political press corps, and yes, the City Hall press corps specifically,” said Lightfoot. One wonders how Lightfoot and other modern race baiters could stray further from Martin Luther King’s vision of a colorblind society.
Perhaps the most disturbing movement underway in the Left’s crusade to divide us along racial lines is the notorious 1619 Project hatched by activist Nikole Hannah-Jones and writers from The New York Times and The New York Times Magazine. With the stated goals of promoting justice and harmony, this initiative distorts history by demonizing America’s founding and founding documents. It claims that America’s real founding occurred in 1619 with the first documented arrival of enslaved Americans to the colony of Virginia, not in 1776, and that the American Revolution was fought to protect slavery. American Revolution historian Gordon Wood says he is unaware “of any colonist who said that they wanted independence in order to preserve their slaves.”
America’s most prestigious colleges and universities are indoctrinating their students with this poison, insisting that America is systemically racist and fundamentally white supremacist and requires sweeping structural reform. This toxic propaganda is also being pushed into parts of America’s middle school and high school curricula.
“The overriding lesson” of the project, says The Heritage Foundation’s Arthur Milikh, is that “young people must learn to despise their nation—its Constitution, ideals, economic system, and its Founders. They must resent and reject their past; possess an aggressive, contemptuous, and disobedient attitude toward the present; and strive forcefully to create a triumphant future where the enemies of old are punished, and the innocent finally rule.”
The 1619 Project is closely related to the academic movement known as critical race theory, which began among outlying academics in the 1970s but has now insinuated itself into the mainstream of academic and cultural thought. One of its central premises is that white supremacy is prevalent in America and maintains power through our systemically racist legal system.
The ever-growing acceptance of this insanity is evidenced by its presence in America’s military institutions and the seeming powerlessness of those courageously opposing it. Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron at the Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado, was relieved from duty because of a “loss of trust and confidence in his ability to lead.” Actually, it was because he criticized critical race theory in a public podcast, saying it is very dangerous to our military.
Lohmeier pulled no punches in his comments or in his book, “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military.” “Our diversity, inclusion and equity industry and the trainings we’re receiving in the military … are rooted in critical race theory, which is rooted in Marxism,” Lohmeier said.
This bold whistleblower, instead of being praised and rewarded for his candor, was punished and silenced. Lohmeier’s firing was ostensibly based on his injection of politics into his job, but he was merely speaking truth. Only in the Left’s world could criticism of the looming presence of Marxism in the institution dedicated to protecting and defending our national security be considered controversial or political. Punishing Lohmeier for his comments also gives aid and comfort to communist China and other American enemies, which consistently disparage the United States as a racist and civil rights-abusing nation.
Don’t be fooled by the Left’s excuses. Leftists will allow no opposition to their extremist positions. Their venomous narrative about our founding is distinctly anti-American and hostile to America’s interests and thus wholly inappropriate and dangerous for the military, which should be focused on defending us, not serving as a laboratory for the Left’s pernicious social experiments.
Major kudos to Lt. Col. Lohmeier for speaking out even at the expense of his own interests. That is true patriotism and a model for the rest of us, who must stand up against this concerted effort to undermine America’s greatness, cohesiveness and racial relations.

DeSantis on Critical Race Theory: ‘Offensive’ to Expect Taxpayers to Pay to Teach Kids to ‘Hate Their Country’
BY TOM OZIMEK May 22, 2021
Florida’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis said Friday that he opposes teaching critical race theory in the state’s public schools, calling the ideas pushed by its advocates as “based on false history” and “teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other.”

DeSantis to Critics of CRT Ban: Florida Students Will Learn ‘Historical Fact,’ Not ‘Non-Empirical Ideology’
BY PATRICIA TOLSON May 25, 2021
Now that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has banned Critical Race Theory from public schools, his critics are on notice that Florida’s students will learn “historical fact,” not “non-empirical ideology.”
Looks like obvious hate speech and calls to action. But, these tweets are 3/4 yr old now, proving twitter doesn't care. They love this shit.

I'm so fucking old I can remember when CRT meant 'Cathode Ray Tube'
Perhaps the most powerful – and most frightening – of the notes I have received are the several dozen from those who identify themselves as having immigrated to America from the former Soviet Union or from countries in formerly communist Eastern Europe. These emails are never political in nature and are nearly identical in message: These first-generation Americans all write that they have “seen this movie before.” They are familiar with the propaganda, the tactics of indoctrination and the pervasive fear of speaking up that plague today’s United States. Simply put, they cannot believe this is happening here.
BOSTON, MA—According to sources, local parents Dale and Cherie Woodall are shelling out over $100,000 to send their son Dillan to college and utterly destroy every good thing they have tried to teach him for the last 18 years.
"What these parents don't know," said one expert, "is that pretty much all kids who go to college end up more dumb when they graduate than they were when they went in. We're honestly surprised people are still paying for this stuff!"
Studies show that most universities ceased being places of higher learning many decades ago, and are instead Marxist indoctrination centers designed to turn students into mindless activists for radical social revolution.
At college, Dillan's faith will be assaulted on a daily basis, and every value he's been taught will be deconstructed until there's nothing left. When he graduates, he will be a lost, miserable soul who won't be able to get a job and will wander aimlessly through life for 10 years until he rediscovers God again and finds the meaning and purpose he long left behind.
$100K well spent!
Finally, when conditions are very peaceful, all opportunity and necessity for cultivating one's feelings for rigor and hardness disappear; now any rigor, even in the operations of justice, begins to disturb men's conscience. Any superior and rigorous distinction and self-responsibility is felt to be almost insulting; it awakens mistrust; the "lambs" and even more the "sheep" gain respect. There is a point of pathological hollowness and over-indulgence in the history of social groups where they even side with those who harm them, with their criminals -- and they feel this way seriously and honestly. Punishment seems somehow unfair...
This reminds me a lot of the weakening of America under our long peace, and the eventual siding with criminals
‘Critical Race Theory Is the New Racism,’ Says Texas Public Policy Foundation Scholar
BY TOM OZIMEK May 28, 2021
...Thomas Lindsay, a distinguished senior fellow of higher education and constitutional studies at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, said that there are CRT-inspired programs “being instituted down to the third grade, where they’re telling third-grade children that because of the color of their skin, they are oppressors, meaning that because of the color of their skin, they’re bad.”
“That used to be called racism,” he said. “And unfortunately, critical race theory is the new racism.”
CRT—which espouses the idea that race is not natural, but socially constructed to oppress and exploit minorities—is an offshoot of the quasi-Marxist critical theory social philosophy that was promoted by the Frankfurt school of thought.
Then-President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning CRT training in federal agencies in September 2020, with the White House describing it as “anti-American propaganda.”
After taking office, Biden reversed Trump’s September 2020 executive order and has pushed CRT training on a number of fronts.
Proponents of Critical Race Theory have argued that it’s needed to demonstrate what they say is “pervasive systemic racism” and to facilitate rooting it out.
The Biden administration’s efforts have triggered widespread pushback from federal and state Republican lawmakers, conservatives, and related organizations, as well as parents.
“Parents are incredibly upset that their children are being told that if they’re white, they are by definition oppressors, and if they’re black, they’re by definition oppressed,” Lindsay said in the interview.
He also praised House Bill 3979, which passed the state Senate on May 22 but, as of Thursday, had not yet been finalized as some amendments continue to be scrutinized. While the bill doesn’t mention CRT by name, it apparently aims to ban the quasi-Marxist ideology in public and open-enrollment charter schools.
According to the bill text, teachers, administrators, and employees from state agencies, school districts, and open-enrollment charter schools are prohibited from teaching students that one race is inherently superior to another race or sex or that an individual is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive by virtue of his or her race or sex.
Lindsay said the bill “prevents any teaching of students and any teacher training that uses racial scapegoating or racial stereotyping or sexual scapegoating or sexual stereotyping.”
He added that the measure also does several things “on the positive side,” namely requiring all Texas students to study the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, Federalist Paper essays 10 and 15, excerpts from Alexis de Tocqueville’s “Democracy in America,” and the first Lincoln-Douglas debate.
“That’s going to give them that information about our founding principles that they’re going to need to understand current events,” Lindsay said.
He said the Texas bill came in response to the Biden administration’s April proposal to fund history and civics programs that promote Critical Race Theory or related curricula.
Patrick saysThis reminds me a lot of the weakening of America under our long peace, and the eventual siding with criminals
Like Joe Biden, Mitt Romney, George Bush, Tony Fauci and so many others, who harm them.
Fixed it for you.
The popular false narrative of martyrdom of petty criminals by excessive police force is to distract us from that fact that corrupt people run our country.
This is the heart of the CRT movement's cultural strategy – deceive society into embracing a fundamentally dishonest premise about human dignity, and build a prejudiced, neo-racist kingdom from there.
Rufo demonstrated how to defeat it, and we'd all be wise to learn.
