They should be focusing on getting back to the basics of making stories about the human condition, that appeals to all Humans of all races. Cherry picking themes deep rooted in Social Justice, and divisive political rhetoric isn't is. Even people of color, and sexually vexed people, don't give a crap about agenda based propaganda films.
It is not entertainment, and it is not stories.

I have no plans to ever watch, Hollywood produced Movies, not in a theater, not on any home medium, and not even streaming for free. My smart TV in my bedroom, I only watch YouTube videos, that appeal to me, that I sought out. I almost never pay attention to the brief advertisement as I'm more focused on the "you can skip add in X seconds" and on the 5th second, I damn well skip it.

The Entertainment industry has a huge problem. Bush jr. and Obama enticed them away from Story telling and capitalism backing production. To a sure thing, of Federal funds, funding Propaganda to condition people to the point that they were, that they didn't realize what a demon and a crook that Obama was.

Hollywood was in such a Roil when Trump came in office because they sold their souls to Communism and the State. They knew they had become incapable of telling stories that would get people to the Theatre on their own dime by financing Woke content, that nobody cares about.

When the State is backing you, then you don't care if people actually went to see it, or enjoyed it. They can still give out awards and pat themselves on the back, for a job well done. Also the awards become irrelevant to the point, they are just virtue signaling tokens. "The Oscars are too White" was stated by people like Tom Hanks.
