His commercials are done that way on purpose though, or so I believe. We get a ton of them here in IL. Likely because made in America and regional loyalty does help sales. I'd say 1 in 4 people I know here in IL have bought a MyPillow. I mean you're selling a pillow so this big mustached man cannot be harsh. So he feigns softness or so is my guess. I don't have one but my sister does. She likes it.
The sleeping industry is strange. I was in Phoenix about 6 years ago having a smoke (no longer smoke) and the co-owners of Tuft and Needle mattress bummed a smoke from me. They then pitched me their mattresses and we had some sushi. I looked them up the next morning and found out they were the top selling and rated mattress on Amazon. I thought it was a joke and just did the nod and "oh yeah, sounds nice" type thing when talking with them. Like why would these guys bum a smoke?
I never looked up the numbers, but I think they sold out to Serta or some other big mattress company. Likely walking with 10's of millions. It's a fucking small world out there. I'm just still dumbfounded by the interaction. Total hipsters though, not my style. I did end up buying a mattress though, lol.

I read his Bio, he was always making business straight out of high school. All of his adult life he was making one business or another, I don't believe he's ever been an employee in his whole life.

My parents have one in a guest bedroom, the pillows are shit. I nearly tore it apart at night while sleeping trying to get comfortable.
The low low price does match the value though.
I'd buy one just to support him. Hey, there's an idea. I get those for when my parents sleep here!

Yeah, bedding and pillows are pure opinion. It's a weird industry simply built on branding and positive word of mouth. I honestly get some of my best sleep on a camping pad in a tent on a cool night. Half the battle is relaxing and being de-stressed. Once you're there, sleeping on a sheet of plywood could feel good.

Mattresses etc., are getting shitter each decade. I do autopsies of furniture when I throw it out. Cutting things into small pieces makes it easier to get rid of as well if you know what I mean. (apartment dweller)
High quality Talalay latex can't be beat. "My" pillow cost nearly $200 however. I built my own mattress out of the stuff as well.

In what seemed to many like a scrapped plot line from 30 Rock, the Mail reported Thursday afternoon that Lindell—famous for his unwavering support of Trump and seemingly ceaseless pillow ads broadcast on Fox News—had carried on a secret romance with the TV sitcom and Broadway star.
According to the tabloid, Krakowski’s friends were puzzled by the alleged relationship and described it as tumultuous, but, per the Mail, Lindell won her over with champagne, liquor and flowers, and carried on a “passionate” affair that one source described as an “open secret” in Manhattan’s West Village. One thing both parties seem to vocally agree on, however, is that the relationship described by the Mail never happened.
“Jane has never met Mr. Lindell,” the actress’ publicist said in a statement. “She is not and has never been in any relationship with him, romantic or otherwise.” Lindell told The Daily Beast on Thursday: “I have never met that person and I told the Daily Mail that. My lawyers are going after them.”
