Thanks, @Patrick, a good article. Things like "A place like Zapata is oil country. On weekends, the town empties out as people head into the ranchland to hunt, and nearly everyone is proudly gun-toting and God-fearing. In the deeply Catholic county, support for abortion is practically nonexistent, while support for law enforcement, the military and even Border Patrol is rock-solid" are most definitely true. These people are rednecks in the best sense of the word. They saved Texas from becoming blue, and hopefully this is recognized by both Texas R politicians and by other people on the right.

My interactions with Texas Hispanics have been much better than interactions with annoying woke white colleagues/students.

But there’s another, less sensational but perhaps more consequential election scandal in Nevada that hasn’t yet made headlines, even though it’s been hiding in plain sight for weeks now. Under the guise of supposedly nonprofit, nonpartisan get-out-the-vote campaigns, Native American voter advocacy groups in Nevada handed out gift cards, electronics, clothing, and other items to voters in tribal areas, in many cases documenting the exchange of ballots for “prizes” on their own Facebook pages, sometimes even while wearing official Joe Biden campaign gear.

Simply put, this is illegal. Offering voters anything of value in exchange for their vote is a violation of federal election law, and in some cases punishable by up to two years in prison and as much as $10,000 in fines. That includes raffles, free food, free T-shirts, and so on.

I wish. I do not think there is any legal way to undo the original certification. "No backsies."

What fool believed the Dems would actually do an audit, and that "voting irregularities is not a reason not to certify?" The Republican Canvassers should know that the Dems are not interested in a fair election and are actively cheating. Makes me wonder if the Repub Canvassers were bribed, and this is just a show. The original certification will not be overturned, and they know it.
