The fuckers are openly cheering for Covid to get worse:

2   theoakman   2020 Oct 30, 6:13pm

if this problem is so simple to solve, why didn't Democrat governors do it?
3   theoakman   2020 Oct 30, 6:14pm

And the idea that we are at a record today is ridiculous. Do you know how many people had it in NY/NJ in March? We didn't test them...because it was millions.

Fucking Nate even shows the daily tests in the leftmost graph. But it makes not a iota of difference for the "smart" and "science-savvy" dims on DU.

On behalf of the American electorate...
(Rolls my eyes)

cases per number of tests would be a better metric... but that doesn't fit the narrative.

Exactly that's also why Mexico has a 10% death rate. They only test the very ill who make their way to the hospitals. Leftoids are incapable of basic math. You can also see that now about 1 in 120 cases is serious since testing has ramped up. The real number is prob much lower possibly around 1 in 500 if you assume at least 100MM came in contact with it in the US.

Should be easy to calculate.

What? That's great. How fucking stupid is CNPC. That's exactly what you want. Herd immunity via low level viral infections.

Gawd.

There's lies, damned lies, statistics, government claims, and government statistics.

What the fuck does it take for people to realize they are being fed misinformation? Nobody would even know we have a "pandemic" is it wasn't shouted out by our bullshit propaganda, I mean news media, daily.

When will people realize our "news" is bullshit? How gullible can people be?

I think most of us here realize it's bull shit. I try to convince, convert, etc. everyone I can. This is also why I'm a very anecdotal type. When my nurse friends are bored at work yet the media is saying we're being overrun in hospitals with Covid, it's easy to spot the BS. The part that scares me is they knowingly lie along with the politicians.

There is no increase in Covid cases or hospitalizations (which is all that matters) in IL. Yet the Governor before a major election is just shutting everything down. I'm glad the businesses in my town said fuck it and are staying open. Hopefully they don't lose any licenses, but someone has got to put a stop to this shit. The goal was to smash the economy and get Trump out. All it's doing is pushing people I never thought would have voted for Trump to do so.

On the news this morning, Channel 7 was reporting and hyping that in Miami Dade they are now having the biggest outbreak of the year. No Trick or Treating.
Then they did a fluff piece on a few swanky bars that are opened tonight on Miami beach where the patrons will revel in Halloween festive celebrations. But no Trick or Treating for you!
And you should panic now and plan on Not voting in person on Tuesday, shame on you, you should have voted by mail

We have to do MORE testing!

How else will people know that they are sick?

That's the plan. If the early returns aren't looking good, don't be surprised if states shut down election day polling places. Halloween is a great distraction too falling on a Saturday this year. No one will notice.

What Halloween? It has been banned ... err ... "discouraged" because of Wuflu.
