President Trump spoke mildly in defense of Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse on Tuesday, saying that the 17-year-old seemed to be defending himself when he shot three people, killing two of them.

NPR, fresh off of interviewing In Defense of Looting author Vicky Osterweil, had something stern to say about that, tweeting ‘President Trump declined to condemn the actions of the suspected 17-year-old shooter of three protesters against police brutality in Kenosha — claiming, without evidence, that it appeared the gunman was acting in self-defense.’

Without evidence! Cockburn tries to live an upright life these days, but he had to pause for a moment to be sure he had not mistakenly consumed peyote or some other mind-altering substance. Without evidence? The entire Rittenhouse episode was caught on tape. You can watch both shootings on YouTube, along with lengthy dissections of what they show. You can watch him get interviewed immediately before the shooting.

Without evidence? Kyle Rittenhouse’s night in Kenosha is one of the single best-documented shootings of all time. Even in the most literal sense, NPR’s tweet isn’t true; President Trump directly cited the videos, telling reporters that ‘you saw the same tape as I saw.’ What other evidence could he have possibly produced? Was he supposed to replay the tape right there?

WTF?

Seriously.

WTF?

We should flood NPR with objections to this outright lie, and links to the videos.

Kyle Rittenhouse
The same attorney who took Nick Sandmann's case is taking the case of Kyle Rittenhouse. He sought and got millions in that case and it was just slander.

Yes, I donated $100 to Kyle's defense at https://fightback.law/

I actually wrote NPR and asked them to try to maintain their credibility. I doubt it will have any effect though. They are too far gone with TDS.

NPR has been on TDS for at least 4 years. Their true colors is extreme left.

Just tell Leftists that Kyle doesn't exist. He's a figment of their drug-addled, conspiracy-riddled imaginations.

Just like they do with antifa.

They were TDS long before Trump ran for President.
I discovered listening to them in 2008, gave me insight on what the Democrats in Congress was going to push next. NPR talks about conditioning School Children into gender Dysmorphia, then three months later the Democrats in Congress will float bills, to criminalize parents trying to stop it, and federal money to facilitate cutting off their tally wacker.
But by after the 2012 election, their sole mission was to troll White people, vilify them, and push as much anti American policy as they possibly could. While embracing militant Blacks anywhere in the world that hates America, pushing Communist policy, and normalizing Islam Extremists while deflecting their actions onto White people.
By time Trump ran for office threatening to cut their funding. They saw him as a threat, then turned into the Anti Trump Radio propaganda organization they are now.

I am serious. He should have anticipated this and had a screen ready to run through the video right in front of these bastards. We ALL know what they are like. Unless you openly throw their shit back at them, they will keep flinging at you.

No it's better Kayleigh McEnany beats them over the head with it in the White House Press Briefing today.

Now that the world knows she's a double mastectomy recipient, they can't bash her like they were before. I love how they have backed off of her now, since her RNC appearance.

Yeah but now so does everybody else, that just makes them look like bigger jack asses than they were before. They still act like children at the press conference, but they aren't bashing her in the articles they write now.

Not so sure. Been posted here and elsewhere the whole cannibal and pedophile question. They're just puppets. Trump was actually taken aback by that question but handled it well. Like who the fuck would ask that?

Remember: One crisis at a time!

They'll pull that one off the shelf, dust it off, lay it down on the turn table, and when the time is right, drop the needle. Segue right into it, making sure there isn't a single minute of your day where there is a break from crisis.

Facebook is removing all videos of Kyle or any posts that could be construed as supportive of him. They’ve designated him a mass murderer.
Facebook is awful.

I heard that after they removed his account he threatened to sue Dorcy personally. The account was promptly restored.

They are trying to erase the event. It's patently obvious. Only the NYT did any actual research into the event, and called it all justifiable. That's when the rest of the MSM began closing ranks to "forget" the events. "No story here, nothing to see, move along now." Once it's off the radar, we can move back to the fake news.

After playing recent clip of something Biden said that made no sense NPR reporter asked "What should we make of Biden's hazy speech?" Hazy is a nice word for almost everything he says.

This past week, one of National Public Radio’s most popular shows, “Code Switch,” gave a microphone to Vicky Osterweil, author of the “In Defense of Looting,” a book that argues precisely what it sounds like it’s arguing.

Now, Code Switch’s tag line is “Race. In Your Face,” and in their “About” portion of their website note the following: “Remember when folks used to talk about being “post-racial”? Well, we’re definitely not that.”

So, that’s the tenor of the show. (It should also tell you a little something about NPR’s current sensibilities.)

During the interview, Ms. Osterweil made, among other outrageous comments, the following:

“Looting strikes at the heart of property, of whiteness and of the police. It gets to the very root of the way those three things are interconnected. And also it provides people with an imaginative sense of freedom and pleasure and helps them imagine a world that could be.” ...

And after all this? After the decision to host an author openly advocating the destruction of property and livelihood, does anyone at NPR lose their jobs? Is “Code Switch” canceled?

Ha, ha. No, no, of course not.

That will fall under Trumps free speech executive order nicely.

Did you ever, in your wildest dreams, think in 2020 we'd be facing a Communist Revolution and Big Tech would be working with the Fortune 500 to help it?

Wow.
