They're mostly Millennials born after 1985. Last night in Portland, arrest after arrest: 33, 27, 28, 32. The most militant are not college age as would be expected, significantly older.

I witnessed the leftist indoctrination happen with my sister, who now lives in Portland. She moved there about 5 years ago from NJ as a 27 year old. She's worked a bunch of shitty jobs and made friends with the biggest losers who have no direction in life. She went from right leaning to full blown communist. She now posts about defunding the police and donating to BLM. I try to explain to her about working a real job and possibly actually having a career and her response is "I don't really care about money and don't want any responsbility". This is the Portland mindset as far as working goes.

Money though. It's like speaking to a double cinder block wall with insulation in between so I gave up. She's is dire debt and it keeps increasing. It's definitely not my bro-in-laws fault, he's an MBA but she has him by the balls. He's a big ass football player from Judson which when we were in HS was where people moved to get their kids on that team. It was the best entry into college/NFL although I'm not sure these days. It was a huge school. Should have been 8A.

The economy was still in the shits years later. Many of those grads became the lost generation.
