I'm very tired of the hate in partisan politics, and want to have productive discussions with people of good will on how we can improve life in the US and around the world.

So no more pictures of Trump as an insane clown or talk of his being raped by Putin. That does not address his policies specifically and helps nothing. It just divides us.

And no more phrases like "liberals". That immediately eliminates the possibility of a liberal wanting to have a polite discussion of his point of view here. Again, it just divides us.

We need unity, not more division. E pluribus unum.

I'm just going to flag posts and comments I find to be stirring up hate and division. Don't worry, you'll know what that means, and the author will be able to click the "edit" button to see just what it was that got the post or comment flagged. It will be clear and fair.

Yes, it's a kind of censorship, but my hope is that it will make this site more useful to people of good will who really want to understand their fellow citizens and improve life. While the MSM routinely censors "offensive" ideas like the Red Pill theory, or our innate differences by sex and race, I'm not going to do that. All ideas are still open for discussion in a civil manner. The tag-line "Freedom to Offend" was not being understood as I intended. It seemed to be generating posts that were deliberately and angrily offensive.

Sorry if it seems like the food-fight is over. Everyone is still very welcome to have their say, just treat others as you would wish to be treated, including other political parties and public figures, and you'll still be able to make any point you want.

Patrick - did my last post disappear?

Anyhow, if you are comfortable with doing it, I can give you a website to connect to. It will just be a pure HTML page describing quickly what I intend to do.

Email is entirely monitored today. If I send you a link, immediately, I will detect a connection to the link made by google, or yahoo, or somebody. The solution around this is that

1) I send an email with the link
2) I create the link

I can see in apache logs who is connected This means I can see your IP address as well - full disclosure. If I send you an email describing what I intend to do, it will be certainly intercepted. There is absolutely no privacy with email today.

Essentially what I'm working on is making a secure, private, internet, impossible to datamine. Creating a website would just running a program on a computer connected to the Internet. No application for a URL, no need for a server outside of your control.

Although it use...

@richwicks I didn't delete anything from you. All your posts and comments should be visible when you click your own name.

Sure, I'd love to see that html page you're talking about.

OR the intelligence agencies and the press conspired against Trump.

I don't believe that seeing sufficient reason to investigate Russian involvement in the 2016 campaign (which we know happened) as wrong. Certainly not a conspiracy. That was the stated purpose of the Mueller investigation.

AS for the aspect of that looked into Trups campaign and possible collusion with Russians ? Anyone who thinks there is proof that they didn't have sufficient reason to investigate that, would have to have all the information intelligence agencies have about Russian financing of Trump, and everything else they knew about his dealings and his peoples dealing with Russia.

If it was a legitimate investigation, then it wasn't a conspiracy.

Fact is, it could have been an extremely legit investigation, even if the Mueller report had exonerated Trump, which it didn't.

How was it a conspiracy ? I will acknowledge the fact that way over 40% of the country find Trump to be a truly terrible person (even before he was elected - by the way not a good recipe for unity - HELLO ? ), combined with the high potential of fraudulent dealings in 2016, means that yes, the public and the media had an appetite for hearing about how he was going to be taken down. The same as they would if the actual anti-Christ had been elected. Not surprising and not a conspiracy.

Trust me, when this country gets to the point that the "left" (more like left side of the right - not including the BS SJW stuff), is choosing someone in large part because of how mush it will piss off the right, you might finally see me voting republican.

Also @richwicks did you see this idea I had? https://patrick.net/post/1332461/2020-05-27-a-facebook-replacement

I'll read it and give input after I'm done with work tonight.

I'll send you a private link before I go to bed about what I want to do, and see if you're interested in it.

I want to destroy Facebook too.

Be Cause Trump never colluded with the Russians. Got any proof to the contrary? Didn't think so.

@patrick

My organization encouraged all its members to recognize 9 minutes of silence in remberance of George Floyd earlier this week. For the most part, since his death we have all been reacting.

As we move past reacting and into charting a new course it has become apparent that most references to race are racist in modern day discourse.

The most obvious example of how most references to race promote racism would be the inequality in acceptable use of words that is actually enforced by the media and other racists.

The words “Black Lives Matter” are racist. How do we know this beyond a reasonable doubt? Ask any public figure with the common sense to respond by saying “all lives matter” to the racism that the phrase “black lives matter” represents. They will tell you they were forced to apologize for using language that by objective analysis is obviously all inclusive. The media has succeeded in labeling “all lives matter” as racist, and yet in their bizarro world “black lives matter” is not divisive or racist at all?

Let’s look at more examples.

Is white lives matter a racist comment? If it is, then it becomes obvious that “black lives matter” as a phrase is used to promote racism as well. In fact because the media promotes black lives matter racism, it is institutionalized racism. Objective analysis reveals that the narrative promoted in the media, politics and academia is essentially that people of one race are responsible for all the inequality and all the wrongs experienced by all other people of all other races. What they fail to recognize is that racism is a two way street.
Is the term black privilege racist? Well so is the term “white privilege.”
Is it racist to use the n word? Great, but that means EVERYONE that uses it is promoting racism.

We could go on and on, but the objective reader, if they will take the time to contemplate and not just react, will come to the conclusion that most discussion of and reference to race (outside of genetic research and science) is in itself racist, counterproductive, and divisive.

Steele dossier was oppo research written by Russian Oligarchs. There isn't any doubt about it.

All of Maddow's BOMBSHELLS about Russian Financing have been shown to be crap.

The NYT even tried to claim that a few thousand dollars in a Mutual Fund or REIT that itself invested a fraction of their holdings in Russia "Proved" Trumps invested in Putler's Regime.
